For anyone who thinks that this game and the first phase of spore is not enough, you should definitely try the game called Thrive. Although it is still under development, it is a much more detailed game, in which we transition from a prokaryotic cell to a eukaryote and from there to multicellular life, and pay attention to the level of molecules such as glucose, ammonia and phosphate in our cells. I definitely recommend it.

Well, there is Thrive which is trying to do exactly that... though it's very, VERY slow development and only barely getting past cell stage and entering multicellular stage.

This game is named after Siphonophores, which are composite animals made of smaller individuals called zooids that specialize in a certain task. You're probably familiar with the most popular one, the portuguese man'o'war, which looks like a jellyfish but is in fact a colony of zooids.

What works pretty well for me is using one of the pieces that can push projectiles to launch things at enemies. Like make kind of a U or V shape on your front with weapons pointing inwards and pushers pointing forwards

So game could save your used setups and use them also, no different obvious path was present. Like eating grass and being peaceful.
