I think on that last one you are supposed to build a maze in which one of the veggies is slow, and then use the fork to lock in the other veggie. Done right A will have to go from bottom right all the way across the maze to bottom left or something to press the button then go all the way back to bottom right to get to the top right treasure, with B only able to begin its run when A gets to the button.

Video game bots have been called "AI" since at least the 90s. The pathfinding and search algos used were a major subfield of academic AI research since the 50s. It's more like the other way around. Once something is common and no longer impressive, it stops being considered "AI".

The cucumber is the only one that can move diagonal, while the wizard (turnip?) is the only one that can warp one space orthogonally through walls. So you need each button and each carrot to be accessible by only one of them, while making the button that unlocks the corresponding carrot as far away as possible. It's superposition, Matt. Stop trying to think like an Architect and think like an Engineer. :D
