Another day, another addictive game! Dome Romantik is a super fun roguelike mining game where all you want to do is pillage the natural resources of an alien world for your own benefit but the native creatures just won't let you! This is part 2 where I'm able to completely mine the entire planet in Dome Romantik and fully upgrade my dome!

About Dome Romantik:
Dome Romantik is a roguelike mining game, where you go on a run to strip multiple planets of their minerals, while the native creatures furiously try to stop you. Romantik can mean multiple things. I think the game devs took it from the wording of "Dorf Romantik" which explains like "beauty and cozyness of a small village"

Hi there, i as a native german speaker i would translate it as charm in this case. As mentioned already it can mean alot of things. From the mundane to a whole art epoch but in this case i would think charm would be approbriate as usually when u use it like this you mean a stylized sometimes even slightly overdone version of what the thing actually means or looked like. Like when u say a place has rustic charm in english can sometimes even be interpreted as a slight

He must've spent at least half his time doing lateral trips because he could only pull 4 items at a time when he had a stack of like 30 items in a pile at the far end of a corridor miles away from the beam. In fact, personally, I feel the tractor beam to be useless, especially with the new teleporter upgrade in the latest update of the demo

I usually upgrade it once. 1-2 trips if I find a lot of ore and I can use that 8 iron for something else. In my latest (and only) successful run I spent way too much on special upgrade upgrades (because I had a water condenser) and barely lived after I forgot to repair my dome. In EVERY other run i rarely got any cobalt to repair, and I learned to not get hardening. At all. Cobalt is valuable.

"Romantik" actually can mean a few things. It can be used as the direct literal translation, wich would be romance, it can be used to describe a certain style of creating art (or maybe a certain time period for the arts of writing/painting, not entirely sure), and with "Dorf" added it is pretty much like you described, a word to describe an idealized/romanticized version of village life. Theres probably also a couple other possible meanings that I forgot about.

If repair works as percentage of HP then using it before buying HP upgrade was absolute architect move

If it's percentage based it doesn't matter. +x% before or after increasing your max HP will leave you to the same %

Let's assume max HP 100 - you have 40/100 HP - Repair +20% = 60/100 HP (60% full) - buy HP increase, now max HP is 200 - you now have 120/200 HP (60% full) If you buy HP increase first: - from 40/100 to 80/200 (both 40% full) - Repair +20% = 80+40/200 - you now have 120/200 HP (60% full)

One thing about this game, if you get an upgrade, you get the very basic part of the upgrade. Such as, with the shield, you could have upgraded the strength, and the recharge rate and basically gotten several extra seconds of safety when you couldn't make it up, and the prospector, which shows you hot or cold on iron, but could also be upgraded for the other resources, and given you a small compass that pointed towards the direction it was finding it. You also skipped the AI control on the stun laser, which would have let it automatically start attacking on the waves even if you weren't in the seat. You never even looked at the upgrades for the orchard and bomb. Also, on the upgrades, any final upgrade that is in a box with other upgrades means you can only pick one or the other, the exception being the shield, which only lets you choose melee damage reflection, or airborne projectile reflection, and locks the other one out once you choose one.

Hi, German person Here. Romantik in German has multiple meanings including, but Not Limited to: romance, a Genre of litirature and theatrics, a historic time Periode(end 17 hundrets i think . As far as i am aware, one would Not ise it to comunicate that Something is sweet or cute, but maybe i am wrong. Great video thought

Now that you've beaten it, and since you love to do modded plays(!)... You can modify the Gamedata and Upgrades files, to have a little bit of fun. ^_^ See how many of each resource you get on average, how big the map is. Experience all the special artifacts, because you can't get all of them in a single run. (as always, save backup copies, so you can revert to default later)

you can only have two main upgrades. but one of the upgrades is a poison sprayer that makes the waves take longer to happen. and then there is a teleporter where you can teleport to the bottom and then when upgraded teleport back up (without materials)

Romantik in german also mean the basically same thing but at one point it was kinda switchable with beautyful or cute therefore we have a habit of for example if a village looks pretty, the people are nice and you have a sense of community, you'd say it's a romantic little village
