The single small hydro in Thatman's replay isn't moving any thing. It is just used as a timer to determine how long the hydo phase will take.

I have never played any polybridge, i just watch too much youtube but I think the hydraulic in Thatman level is there just for time. If there is no hydraulic maybe there is no hydraulic phase and the car just go directly; he just needs time for his mechanism to place the bridge.

You would be correct. It isn't that there isn't a hydraulic phase though. It is that the time of the phase is determined by how long the hydraulics take to do their movements. Short hydraulics take less time, longer ones more time.

18:40 Changing the top bridge doesn't affect the bottom one, however, what it does do is affect the time the first car hits the flag, which in turn affects the time the second car starts. Your first design for the bottom part was made for when the second car started at a different time in the replay, which is why it doesn't work now that the second car starts at a different time.

Yep. If you think about it, cable costs 2 times more than rope, but a rope muscle makes the rope lengths a little longer because of the additional width.

There was a big problem with your first bridge (which was that you over engineered your bridge). What you could’ve done instead of over engineering your bridge might’ve been trussing the bottom of every 3 pieces of road and literally just adding a hydraulic phase (I’m still at 3:28 so I’m not sure if someone if anyone did that in the gallery).
