Just when we thought games couldn't get anymore addictive, Rogue Tower comes along and combines the addictive and fun nature of a roguelite with a tower defense style gameplay. The result is a hugely replayable game that now has more monsters and towers thanks to a new update! This time I use the Monument tower! I used 1,420,069 SWORDS to defend my tower!

Tip: Building on higher ground increases the range of towers AND the base damage. So a good place for radar towers are +3 spots that don't have good coverage for other towers. (But are fine for radar since they have such a large range.) It pained me when you put your 1st 3 radars on ground level.

You actually don't need that much units, just build a bunch of frost keeps surrounding one or two of each shield/armour/health unit. Make it a concentrated kill zone. After that replicate and make many kill zones at each intersection. As you get higher levels when enemies run faster your towers do not have enough time to deal damage

Someone please let me know if I'm wrong here but I believe (unless its been changed) that the target priority is not ordered most to least, but rather sort of averages all of the settings together. I believe there's a tooltip someone that says the order doesn't matter on it, and so when you set that cannon to "most health, Progress, Progress" its going to target a little bit further back, but still shoot stuff up front more than you want if you set it to "most health, most health, most health"

I think that was changed in an early update, and higher up has different priorities. I often use two obelisks together, one is most shields, then armour, then health - the other armour, shields, then health - this behaves as you'd expect

I think the Oogie spawns on the longest route, as long as that is NOT the route that you expanded when it showed up. So you can actually kind of hack how far out the Oogie spawns if you play it correctly :)

If you put the radars on most .... they're more effective. I usually put a third of mine on health, a third on armor, and a third on shield. Even though they're health towers, they do so much damage that upgrading them specifically in armor or shield makes them super effective. Plus, setting them to attack armor or shield naturally upgrades that skill.
