I feel like the game could do with another item: the stop sign. It would connect three or four roads at 90 degrees, giving the right of way to a 180 degree pair of roads. Cars with the right of way wouldn't slow down when going straight, but the other(s) would have to come to a full stop before entering. Basically a rigid traffic light to allow for something of a main street vs side streets.

Yeah but I think route-planning is all down to the individual drivers. Who suck at it. That's the challenge of the game, sculpting the roads so that the drivers, with their 3 little neurons, have to drive like sensible people whether they like it or not. They can't add features that just make it easier, that convey your wishes to the little drivers. Everything has to be a tool that works in a certain way. The nearest thing you get to "help" is a motorway, and they're limited.

It’s 2:30 in the morning, can’t sleep and this video came across my main KZbin page. I don’t know if it’s the game, the voice, the accent or the intro but I am really enjoying this video. It’s truly relaxing and satisfying to see you connect roads and see cars just move from one place to the other. You even made me feel like an engineer in your intro. This is just perfect. Keep going! City Planner Plays did a video where he did a 'Mulligan Monday.' Basically, after getting each week's upgrade, he'd look over the road network and see where it could be changed. Worked fairly well, though some commenters mentioned that he didn't change *enough* each week to be effective.

That means that every driver is used to them, and knows how to navigate them properly thus rendering them a non issue. Here in Denmark people actually complain more about intersections than roundabouts.

I know how you're supposed to use the traffic lights in the game what you do is use them at four ways it where multiple colors integrate so basically it's like a roundabout but you could stop one car color and have the other go through so it doesn't congest multiple colors together and make it hard to make out where to go basically traffic lights if you get enough of them they're basically better roundabouts to where it doesn't get congested as much
