Yea it is... not nearly as powerful & untouchable as they were.. it's nothing like it was & will never be at that level again! But yes, they still are very much here & active... especially in NYC! They're just alot more low-key & have outlawed unaliving people now! Unaliving people brings way too much scrutiny & super harsh, football numbers prison sentences.. So they have gotten more clever in some ways too. But their power & influence isn't anything like it once was

@@nicholasoliveri6746No it was 1000000000 % Gotti that brought it down and that's a well known FACT my friend. Yes you're right he wasn't the first to get caught on a wire tap BUT it was his ego that did it. He went public letting everyone know who he was when it's supposed to be a secret society. He let everyone know that he was a gangster, rubbing it in the feds face which made them go after him. He made all his capos come to the social club every week to kiss his ass. This gave the FBI loads of footage of them all together and identified guys they didn't know about. Don Carlo would have been turning in his grave. A cosa nostra boss is supposed to be low key and not going clubbing and getting on the cover of Time magazine. He even called ordinary people his public. His ego and big mouth destroyed in a few years what Don Carlo took a lifetime to build

Just watched a podcast last night and the second shooter of JFK gave his detailed account of the story in which he was the second shooter at the grassy knoll and fired one Head shot into the right temple of JFK because the first shooter missed the head shot and the motorcade was about to go past with out getting the final chance to make it. He had met Lee Harvey Oswald before and he had Lee pick up the spent shells that left residue on Lee's hands but Lee Harvey Oswald never shot anyone he was not the shooter of JFK who had made several enemies that wanted him dead.

Legends forever their names continue throughout history.I do not glorify crime they where extraordinary they started as common criminals then built Cosa Nostra the American then international Mafia. They where not nice people in fact murder incorporated extremely wealthy they bought political police protection but of course eventually became so powerful the FBI got involved and it was adios see you in 70 years massive sentences via the Rico act where handed out the government fought back hard and put the mafia in a hurt lock. It’s been a cat and mouse game ever since the criminals went low profile hid behind legit business enterprises cleaned their dirty money.
