He was dead on when it comes to the rico law. So many politicians are 100 times more crooked as a mobster any day.
@Gyyges5 жыл бұрын
My take on this is that corrupt politicians do us more harm (collectively) because we have some default expectation that they will spend at least some of their time attempting to make life better for constituents. When they do the opposite, people are manipulated to accept the corruption as the status quo. On the other hand, only an idiot thinks the mob cares one iota about any unaffiliated person. At the end of the day, he’s the last man standing. He’s obviously still here for a reason. There is a lot to learn from Sammy, what to do and what not to do. Despite what anyone may think about The Bull, he lived a life a lot of people only see in the movies. Call him a “Rat” or a “killer” or anything else, but, just like the rest of us, only God can judge him. Right, wrong or indifferent, the man walked through fire and came out the other end without that fire taking his life. He has survived more than most of us could and he’s still here. It’s refreshing to see a man tell “His Truth” Without Complaining or blaming everyone but himself. Like I said, we may not respect his choices, but, we are all living in a glass house and at anytime, that glass can break and once it does break, who’s gonna be the one to clean it up? I have done things people have nightmares about, but I did them for self-preservation and because I was ordered to do it. True story. When he was still in the witness protection program his wife quietly bought a local Italian restaurant. We loved to eat there and one rainy night at a time during the holidays when almost all restaurants are closed, we decided to take a chance to see if they were open and drove by.... We saw a couple of men walking toward the door so we thought "great." The door was unlocked as we walked in right behind another gentleman. We noticed the lights were especially low, but we seated our selves anyway, being tired from shopping/ and not seeing any of the usual staff. But we didn't think much about it. We waited for sometime to be served, then realized we were the only customers in the restaurant, just us. Eventually someone "appeared" from nowhere to take our order, then quietly locked the front door. We had never noticed him before at the restaurant. He wasn't the kind of guy to ever wait on a table. No. After taking some time to find some menus that he had no idea where they were kept, in few words he took our order and didn't come out again until our food arrived. The food wasn't exactly what we ordered, mostly spaghetti. Our favorite Italian bread never showed up at the table either. But by then we had figured out we were not suppose to be there and instinctively did not complain, because we figured out some hush hush meeting was going on at the bar area. We kept our mouth shut about the oddness of it all and we all pretend there among ourselves, trying to act "normal." Even my mom didn't ask for a togo container, her usual request. When it can time to pay we never got a bill. The guy just said, "leave whatever you think, that's fine." Seriously! We left cash on the table. The lights in the bar were off except for the dim glow from a small appliance light or something in the distance. All you could see (if you dared look with your eyes) was the outline of the back of the 5-6 men at the bar. You felt like they were all wondering, "What the h e L L is THAT family dong here?" Intuitively we knew something was going on but acted like everything was fine until we got in the car and drove silently away. It was about 2-3 blocks before we could let out the tension even by ourselves in the car, because we "felt" like we were being watched or something. That evening remained a mystery to us until about a month later a story broke in the Phx paper that said it was Sammy The Bull at that restaurant (he was under surveillance again for xyz reason). It was after this time he came out of the witness protection program and stepped back into his own identity. Crazy, crazy story!

That one comment is very strong “Take away guns from all the good people, I will always have a gun”...puts things into perspective a bit

Tbh, the ignorant people speaking on banning guns know nothing about guns you could hand them a gun and they wouldn’t even know where to start with loading it. They don’t understand how any of this works. I feel sorry for them because they don’t know but at the same time, It sucks they get to be heard when they’re so uneducated and most of them are stubborn which just makes them dumb fucks at that point.
