I loved this reaction. If you guys wanna see more of Gayle, check out his knock of 175*(66) against PWI when he played for RCB in 2013. It was a T20 match. One of his best knocks ever.

Cricket is a game where failure occurs more than success. Innings like this don't happen very often. Bowling to Chris Gayle was always tricky, need something from the pitch or from the new ball early on but you have to bowl well. When he gets in and the ball stops swinging you're in trouble as a bowling unit.

The bats are made of white willow trees. They are solid wood blocks and are not hollow. The ball which is rock hard when connects with wood which is hollow will simply go through it like hot knife goes through butter.

I remember when the WI team was doing a tour in my country and part of the advertising was essentially "Chris Gayle's going to be there. No matter where in the stands you are, there's a decent shot you'll be able to try for a catch"

This guy Chris Gayle full name Christopher Henry Gayle is a terror amongst all teams and even the umpires (referee) are scared to death from him because he is cricketing Hulk you can say that no problem what do ever because he is huge and the power he has is tremendous and when he hits the ball the balls goes with almost double speed if you compare it with a normal any other player and even Virat Kohli former INDIAN captain world's best batsman (batter) in today's world revealed that he was playing with Chris Gayle in a I.P.L. match and I.P.L. is equivalent of English Premier League of soccer (football) said that once him and Chris were batting and suddenly Chris hits the ball straight and he couldn't get the time to react he only tilt his head away and ball passes his head like a bullet and suddenly umpire shouted and calls Virat and said what you were doing Virat said what? Umpire said look when Chris hits go straight on ground dont go right or left because if the ball hits your helmet and it came to me I will be dead ☠️☠️☠️☠️ that kind of terror Chris Gayle has in Umpires of the game not just the players and even when Chris bats many umpires have used helmets and L gaurd for there safety and this guy have hit the ball out of the ground and stadium stands and stadiums throughout the world it's not a big or a new thing for cricketing world....

Well, if you hear a real cricket bat hitting a ball, you'd be surprised. It's a pretty loud clap. The microphone on the stumps muffles a lot of sound I think because they need it to detect edges so I suppose a lot of the higher frequencies are filtered out.

Chris Gayle is susceptible to spin and swing especially early on in his innings when batsmen usually don't know how the pitch plays and the conditions are also unknown. A good strategy later on has been the slower ball especially when he's trying to mash every ball into potato, that little change of pace can be a little deceiving.

Re: how effortless he appears to swing the bat, the approach is very different compared to baseballers who swing the bat much harder/faster.. The bouncing ball , angle of the swing and nature of the bat itself (heavier and bigger then a baseball bat) means a good hit is controlled and the batter keeps his shape .. The harder you swing the more likely you are to loose your shape/form and mis-hit it (possibly get out) … The batter just trying to middle it (hit the ball in the sweet spot of the. bat) and time it (hit the ball at the perfect time to maximise the angle and velocity off the bounce)… The best biggest hits often look effortless, it’s the sound you should be listening to as it makes a very different t sound when u get it right … Re: How long they bat for, this does not impact their decision as to how hard they swing .. They’re not worried about getting tired (through they do - mentally more then physically ) they just want to keep form , time , and bat in a way that is best for your team at that time (eg make runs fast and have a higher risk of getting out or make runs slower and have a much less risk of getting out) .. 20/20’- a batter can bat for as long as 1.5-2hrs straight…; One Day, a batter can bat for as long as ~5hrs ; Test match: batters can bat for 8 hrs a day and practically at most 2 full days (so 16hrs total) … a typical good innings in a test to score 50 takes about 45 mins to 2 hrs l… to make a 100, you typically need 3 to 6 hrs of batting …

Proper bounce, nice yorker, length good-produced slow bowling can get any renowned batsman out. So-many way y'know, you've to understand the pitch and according to the match situation, you've to bowl as this the world of cricket running by batsmen. Bowlers have to be more clever to get someone out and give less runs.
