GB is doing him such a career service, it’s a real great story for a great guy, he’s getting the tape and the training to succeed. If I were CAR I’d have the pack on speed dial in the off-season. As a lifetime Packers fan who is 51 I've seen the great and the worst football. Most Packer fans are happy with a team that puts everything on the field and this kind of coaching we have is exactly what we've wanted when Rodgers was in his prime but we have it now and every damn player is very young. If guys are smart and give up those ridiculous salaries and be happy with championships you will definitely make more money in the long run because sticking together when you strike gold like this. I do have some hope because they really do play like there military like, next man up and doing everything you can to help the team. We'll see if ego takes over and kills this kind of team or do they turn into multiple championships
Ай бұрын
Ownership screwed Rodgers because they refused to pay Davante Adams and over a 20 year period never chose a Round 1 receiver. Just think what they might have down with an elite receiver or two.Additionally, I suspect that Rodgers did not handle this well, keeping his displeasure in instead of strongly confronting ownership. Then, he went mental and starting acting like an infant. Then crazy. Stupid way to end his career but it looks like everything will work out for the Packers.

As great as Willis was, let's not forget Jordan Love's phenomenal abilities... There is no QB controversy, Love is the starter and Malik, who obviously could be a starter anywhere else in the NFL using his natural gifts, is the backup. The Titans problem with Willis was they tried to mold him into a different style of QB rather than allow him to use and to further develop the natural abilities he clearly has. Green Bay's coaches did just the opposite. They saw what he could do expertly and built the game plan around HIS abilities, not around what a coach thought he should do. This is why Matt Lafleur is one of the best coaches in the NFL and holds one of the best records as a head coach in this league. Don't forget, he once coached in Tennessee! :)

Vikings game: Lafleur has a hard decision to make to start Love who will have some rust to shake off against a 3-0 team and Willis riding high but Love is the clear favorite to start if he is cleared to play. You can't open up the playbook with Millis like you can with Love which limits your offense and the defense must make up the difference. With Love he makes so many more points with his arm. Willis only made 1 TD with his arm in the Titans game and the rest was rushing and the defense making the difference. Willis makes a great backup for Greenbay. Willis needs more time to absorb the play book. Nothing Like learning it in action in real games.
