JJ Watt wasn't surrounded by other talent like CJ Stroud is, including the coaching staff. Although, JJ would probably still be the best player on this team now as well and he may join them later in the season to get a championship.

@@SoloBroBro Great point. In congruence with JJ Watt, folks to this day aren't used to this much greatness from Houston. I agree, I hope this attention doesn't take away from him getting practice in. I'm just saying, it'll only be a problem if he's doing more podcasts than building up team morale throughout the summer. For now, I'm okay he's putting the rest of the league on to this "not being the same" tough out "Texans."

For the most part CJ has come off in his interviews as being humble and this humility people like him as not only a player, but as a person. Where fans may have concerns is where the line of being confident while still maintaining that humbleness is. It's one thing to be asked questions on a podcast on what his opinions are, but he still has much to learn only entering his second season because he may rub some of those other players and fans the wrong way.

However, this is based off of 2023 alone. That DL is nasty as well. Danielle Hunter, Will Anderson Jr., Denico Autry. That’s pretty good.

CJ can get on every podcast he wants. The person he is that allowed him to have the season he did is still the same guy. When he's on the field, he's about his business. When he's off the field, Tank is sitting right next to him. They're probably hanging and diving deep into the playbook amongst being friends. I'm not worried at all about CJ and I've been a Texans fan from the start.
