As usual I love the way you injected humor in this though it really showed a very harsh reality in war. Veterans survived and went home but are forever scarred by the horrific images, sights and sounds they’ve personally seen on the battlefield. A lot have depended and some have become addicted to narcotics to help them cope or even to temporarily numb them of the hellish horrors they’ve gone through.
