Love the training....and love the blues music in the background. Perfect, I think, for trail yards in my day (1956). Blues and trains always were the sounds in my Ozark area.

I like that your videos are approachable and easy to follow, yet still yield great results in the end. Enjoyable to watch - thanks for the effort you put into these productions.

You could put a person flying their drone next to the yard; suspend a drone from the ceiling with wire. That would give your layout something special and challenging and really cool.

That’s a cool idea! I’ll definitely need some kind of rail fans somewhere

It was good video between the tree and the train station there's a small little building there I can see some his banded railroad ties and some railroad tracks something what looks like it's been rusted for years I can see something just in that smaller little space

Great video TR and the spot you used static grass worked perfect along w the tree! I also like the 2 telephone poles in front of train station. What color was it you painted your track with? I want to spray mine but not sure what color yet. Thanks again for sharing your videos and look fwd to seeing the next one.
@TopRailroad2 жыл бұрын
Appreciate it as always! The paint for some reason doesn’t have a actually color name but it’s Rustoleoms camo paint line and it’s the dark dark brown color, hope that helps!

Nice work. What is the make of that static grass applicator with the 4 legged base? Or is that 4 legged base seperate?

It’s the Woodland Scenics one and the little 4 legged base comes with it

@Eclipse198810 ай бұрын
Is that static grass applicator sold at the train store? That thing did some good work! Better than when i was a little kid like (7ish) and i decided i wanted grass so i stole my dads parsley container out of the kitchen and started sprinkling that all over the place... he wasn't happy lol.

I think I got it online. eBay or something. But that’s hilarious, you always use funny things for your model railroad as a kid

Hi, I'm new to this, which is what you apply at 2:40 and the powder at 3:05
@TopRailroad2 жыл бұрын
The paint I applied was Territorial Beige matte acrylic paint that I get I Walmart. The powder is a mixture of real dirt sifted from my backyard and a light tan grout mix. I also baked the dirt before using it, hope this helps!
