I love coming back to the old thrift haul/decor videos! I'm 17 and right now my mom, stepdad, 5 little siblings and I are staying at my grandparents' house until we can find somewhere to live. Life is expensive right now but it's good to be alive. These videos help keep me inspired for when I get a bedroom/house, and they're a light in a hole. It all looks so pretty! it's very funny to me that you saw St Vinnie's as an affordable thrift shop! in terms of my favorite thrift stores, SVDP is way more expensive than other local and independent thrift stores in Wisconsin. also it's weird that all the restores I've gone to usually have the best prices by far!! I just recently picked up two BEAUTIFUL vintage arm chairs for 15 bucks apiece, and I've rarely paid more than 50 bucks for a piece of furniture. different locations I suppose!

okay so i always have the same fears. i don’t really thrift a lot of fabric items but if they’re washable, i always immediately put them in the washing machine. if they’re not washable, i put them in my freezer for several days. i also always wipe down everything with antibacterial spray as soon as i get home + before i put it away somewhere. bed bugs are also a huge fear of mine so i get it lol
