I talked to someone who lives in Canada she said that she works 16 hours a day to survive

She is likely lying or making terrible financial decisions. I live in Canada, immigrated with almost no money 10 years ago and I'm fine working 40/45h a week

Really? I speak with several people, friends and a cousin and they all work 40 hours per week and make over $120,000 minimum.

@@countroshculla 120k is not the average but certainly doable with dedication. Canada is expensive it's true but I think a lot of people are making 60k and try to live like kings buying trucks and BS. I lived with roommates for 3 years, saved money. Move to a tiny apartment by myself and payed my first car cash. Eventually met my wife and bought a shitty apartment together. Now, 6 years later, we own several properties and are doing great.

I came to Canada a month ago as international student and it is not a good place to live , it is simply not that great , all expensive stuff aside there are no jobs at all even for someone skilled like me with over 8 years of experience ! furthermore the quality of education is absolutely garbage ! don't believe in fancy videos and lies people !

@@ImCanada I agree. But, I want to bring the conversation back to land of opportunities. To call a country land of opportunities, productivity of the country is an important factor. Since a decade 🇨🇦 is going through a stagflation, and investing in the workforce is declining. Hence, the workforce is combating to up skill and be more productive, at least in comparison to some of European countries and the 🇺🇸. Also, government(offer low interest loans to businesses) and the public should invest in innovative business to create more opportunities. When the public is fighting to make ends meet where will they find money to invest, cost of living is preventing them from saving and investing. In addition, 🇨🇦 bureaucracy takes at least 5 years to process the new housing proposals, and that just fuels the housing shortage which in turn results in leaving a lot of Canadians no option to rent but to live in 🚐 or elsewhere. Finally, 🇨🇦 system didn’t prepare itself for such a large influx of skilled migrants in the recent years. It sounded great to invite skilled migrants to 🇨🇦 since the birth rate ratio is in steep decline but the basic needs i.e., housing and healthcare should be prepared for the stress test. For instance, if inviting a million skilled migrants then the government should make sure at least 5% of them are doctors and relax the rules and allow them to practice medicine in 🇨🇦 That’ll reduce the strain on healthcare. I understand the patronizing but the facts just discloses the truth.

@@ImCanada Recent video on renting crisis in Canada by CBC. How could people afford to have a family when they're combating inflation and barely make ends meet? And, the Government's plan to fix birth rate decline is to invite Educated crowd abroad as migrants? Well, they will have to go through the same issues every Canadian is going through. You might want to think through on the land of opportunities. Also, with a legion of followers comes responsibility to lay the facts out. Keep up the great work. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rqfQp6iYhdB5mrc 👍
