Yessir. They'll catch just about anything. I've caught lots of bluegill, shellcracker on them. Have caught a decent amount of bass as well. Also have caught some nice catfish on the chartreuse gulp minnows. Crappie of course, and I've even caught a 3 lb drum on one.

I understand what folks from other parts of the country are talking about when they say it's "Hot Out There" but, I always get a kick out of it too. Right now, as I write this it's 105 degrees. On Friday it's predicted to be 111 degrees and we haven't even gotten to the hottest part of the Arizona summer. Forecasts say that it may get to 116 degrees next week. When it gets into the high 1-teens, this means that it can still be100-plus degrees at midnight when the sun isn't even shining. When I was younger I didn't care what the temperature was, if I wanted to go fishing I'd go fishing. I don't hold up quite as well now that I'm older. I need for it to be around a brisk105 or lower before I'll consider going fishing, and even then, I'll head out extra early so I can be back home before the real heat sets in.

Charlie Brown has a wild sense of humor! Yes I sure my fishing is over till Fall. Upper 90s nearing 100 isn't going get me out there. Even at night we aren't going down below 75. Here in North Alabama you just cook if you aren't careful. It's far to hot for middle June even down here. This is August weather. Only those nutty Catfishers will go out in this. At least they have enough sense to wait till dark. We are going to have one long hot Summer!

Those gulp minnows for $2.00 are a freaking steal 👍🏻.. You’re not lying about the heat. Excessive heat warning all week. 97 in northern Ohio in June is ridiculous. Caught a couple war mouths this morning . Not common where I fish. I keep going out knowing it’s kind of pointless but fishing with coffee can never bad 😂
