I enjoyed the ops. I really enjoy your layout because this is an area I know quite well. I grew up in Elmira and used to spend a lot of time in the summer up on Seneca Lake. I have lived in Texas for over 20 years now though and can only dream of the cooler summer days. 🤣 Watkins Glen is a great town and you model that area very well.

I love comments like this! I practically grew up in Seneca Lake, but moved South in 1989. Went to school in Watkins. It is a magical place in the Summer. Not so much in the Winter ❄ 🥶. Take care! Bill.

The handbrake is from TrainCrew, I put a link to them in the description. They've got other sounds you can use to enhance your ops. Thanks for the compliment on the hoppers. They are all individually weathered from photos of the prototype cars. I think that is why they look so good. You can't make this stuff up. Well you can, but it won't look as good 😉

Sure! I made them, here's a video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXmrZoqQaL6Wps0si=JqUTVd9a6ys5Rvqz - I just saw that Alkem Models has some photo etched back saver switch handles in their railings and ladders kit. $35.00. Texas Rail Models made some too, but they are temporarily out of stock. Take care!
