Where is Negril are you? West End? Next time try the Aqueduct, it’s gated community and yes the price is going to be bit high but worth every bit

Girl im with you about the bug i would have done the same! I remember when i was in Panama after changing my travel plans last minute i needed a place to stay near the bus station to catch my early bus, so I just picked the first option i was presented. During the night i attempted to use the bathroom and found a cockroach when switching on the light. Let me tell you I didn’t use the toilets at all and was unable to sleep after that 😂. I also remember in Kenya i had rent a airbnb and when opening the drawers guess what a cockroach! I called the owner and booked an hotel right away and finally it was the best decision because the place I ended staying at was the best hotel of my whole trip ❤

Girl, you get it!!! That shock of a bug being in where you're staying, is something else😂😂 Especially when most times accommodations will spray up the place, before the guest arrives. Folks have been stating that " It's normal in the tropics", as if I haven't stayed in multiple tropical places, where I didn't experience this lol a cockroach in the drawers?!!😨😨😨 OMG, I would have done the exact same thing!!!😭😭💚💚

I've been to Ricks once more than 20-years ago. Wasn't thrilled with the food, but the views were fantastic. The beaches were fantastic, but I was with my husband. Don't know if it's possible, but whenever possible, travel with a natural bug repellent. That's my two cents. 😀

Wouldn’t it have been less of a hassle and less time to go by charter taxi? Not being judgey just that I’m a Black British woman who ex-patriated here and Ive done a lot of cross island travel, including by KE too. In fact, did almost exactly that same journey last month but we did break stops along the way. Anyway, hope you’re enjoying Jamaica to the fullest!

@@Winis_WorldI’m not a fan of Rick’s food. It’s more for tourist palettes and pockets. Not sure where you are in Negril but I’m sorry about your experiences of unwanted and rude attention from males. If necessary use women taxi drivers even for short journeys.

Yeah I would definitely do things differently on my next trip. I think i would also stay more in the centre, like I did for my other stays in Jamaica, too.
