Map creator of this map here, if you like Patrol Officer stuff, give my other map, The Row, a try again. I know you guys had trouble spawning underneath the map last time, so I updated it disabling the random spawn locations for now to prevent that. I have a more permanent fix for that coming soon and an update with additional areas and scenarios coming soon. I just bring it up because that map was designed entirely for solo/small patrol officer runs.

03:24 is scary and presents an example failure to check corners. Interpretation of this as fault might not be fair, but I am curious about how such an entrance can be cleared safe and sound (and quick). What approach do you follow guys?

CQB are dangerous and there is a high chance that you get killed. But i know it only from the military point of view. So there would be two Guys storm the room, one guy right onde guy left, simultaneously. There would follow the wall, but the problem is the game itself ready or not. You can only go as one and cant go simultaneously. So yeah.

Not really, if the swat team can arrive quick on a call like this video they would actually be there. But they could also send a bunch of off duty swat officers with less equipment of course. Yeah preferably on scene officer should immediately respond instead of waiting for them

After Uvalde and Parkland most departments changed their policy to storm the building regardless of the number of officers on-scene with the sole purpose of eliminating the threat, so I agree. SWAT will never be there before patrol officers, even in cities that have dedicated full-time SWAT teams. It just isn’t possible unless the shooting is literally next door to the department.

These guys do better than some of the actual situations real officers have been in 🙄 I’d rather a bunch of gamers become cops and save my kids than the current forces standing there for 45 minutes in the same damn spot putting on hand sanitizer

After Uvalde had parkland, most departments changed their policy. My local department just gave us some active shooter training at my job and they stated their policy is for the first officer on scene to make entry as soon as they arrive. Also, and this surprised me, was that they stated they will not attempt to negotiate or deescalate the situation or the shooter. They will come in and use lethal force immediately against the threat without attempting to get the shooter to surrender. I fuck with that.
