An idea for dynamic negotiating with stakes: the suspect has some secret key words that they need to get the negotiator to say without saying the words themselves (think games like passphrase or the game show Pyramid). If they can get the negotiator to say the codeword, that will deescalate, leading to an "everybody wins" scenario. However, there are very similar escalation codewords that if the negotiator says them, means the only way for the suspect to win is in a fight. For instance the codeword could be "sister" and the danger word is "family" so the suspect drops hints that his sibling Mary is the only one he wants to talk to. The negotiator asks if that is his sister and he says yes. Seems like everyone is going to win, but then the negotiator says "Family is very important and we want you to be there for them when this is over." so now the suspect RP's escalating and then goes into fight mode.

This is really good, reminds me a lot of the codeword board game (I’m assuming that’s what you’ve referenced) There’s a 5x5 spreadsheet of random words and one player knows which words on that spreadsheet are his, which are the opponents, and which singular word is an instant loss You have to give a one word hint and a number of targets, and your partner has to guess the amount of targets you indicated that match your one word hint. However, similar to what you said, when giving the hint you have to be careful you don’t accidentally talk your partner into the other teams words to guess

If I knew literally anything about modding this is 1000% the first mod I create. Mission based, asymmetrical PVP. Team vs. combatants. Attack and defend style similar to R6 siege. Suspects get a prep time to set traps and block doors and operators have to clear and secure the map to win.

if i aint mistaken, the scenario was that they had reason to believe there were persons and animal injured/in danger inside. in such cases, a warrant is not needed if the officers have justifiable reasons to believe a life is currently in danger, so no, this is NOT crazy

I have never thought PvP to be necessary for RoN, but if VOID implements it I want it to be something unique - like this kind of SWAT vs. suspects stuff. And it needs to be figured out well, so it's not just gun and run. SWAT should still get rewarded (somehow) for arrests more than kills, and suspects should be penalized (somehow) for getting killed instead of getting arrested. Something cool and new, not that generic CoD, CS or R6S bullshit we've had for ages.

Use the "in-game menu" mod to remove all AI with the "destroyallai" command, or download an AI mod that removes all suspect AI. Then get a group of friends together and setup teams. Depending on how realistic you want it to be you can setup rules so people play tactically. We made sure our "actors" as suspects were playing their role properly. A lot of this was for training purposes and just for fun.

for the first map realistically after you breach and flash you wanna go in not just stand around to maintain the element of surprise. also you had a taser guy but didnt use it and instead gunned the corned suspect. also giving them only a pistol was pretty unfair and very unrealistic.

Probably the most unprofessional group lol, I mean they aren't but if you have seen real shootouts at all you'd know suspects do shoot through walls, home defense does sometimes as well. Shield guy was lost the entire time, I don't think you need to be a professional to know to provide cover, them running across the window gave me shivers.
