Welcome back to the first lunch video of this school year! We have three kids in school and they take a lunch from home daily. We pack simple, realistic lunches. I pack simple things that I know my kids will eat.

Woo whoo, the first week back of school lunches. Lots of yummy stuff in them, Ben is so much better about eating what you sent. I'm always so surprised when Jacob brings food home, but we've all had that happen and isn't little Emily so cute about still wanting to empty the lunch boxes, and she loves the leftovers. Awesome Friday treats, I love twix bars. Thanks for sharing what you sent in for them, I always enjoy these lunches!

@@TheMtggrl I'm always surprised when Jacob brings food home too, which you can probably tell! He's an excellent eater. Ben does great too!! Audrey seems to 'run out of time' but usually finishes after school. I think she likes to chat during lunch! Lol Emily is eager to unpack and eat what's left... I love a twix bar too!! I love the variety in the kids school lunches! It takes some work to keep the lunches interesting and delicious , and you manage to do that really well. It’s so cute that Emily is wanting to snack on whatever her siblings don’t eat in their lunches. And just how happy and enthusiastic she is to empty their lunch boxes to see what they did and didn’t eat !! She will be so excited to empty her own lunch box when she is in school! @@TheChampy2012 I sometimes use foil and it does keep them a bit warm. Usually they dont mind that they're cold. Next time I'll ask them what they'd prefer. Have a great week! 😊

My mom used to pack a hot dog on a string in my thermos with boiling water. A bun and ketchup packet for my lunch! I did the same with my kids when they were little! They loved it!

Ah lunches are back!! Grilled cheese in the oven is great but you have to eat it right away in my opinion. Grilled cheese are best made in a frying pan. Beats the toaster & oven for its crispyness. Even if the grilled cheese has cooled of to room temperature it's still delicious. Have a wonderful week ahead. Greetz from the 🇳🇱🇳🇱

Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 Great lunches as usual. It's so hot 🔥 here. Ugh! Muggy and warm. Definitely still swimming season for us. Leftover homemade bbq'd pizza for lunches today. The kids have a monitored microwave at school. Are you still using your pool? Wishing you all a great week. 😊

@@canadiankabingurl9782 thanks Dyann. It's warm here too, but I'm guessing warmer there! Going to feel like 31 tomorrow. We went to the beach last Friday after school. We haven't used the pool in a bit, I'd say we're done for the season but we haven't close it yet. I am looking forward to fall, but will take any extra beach days!! Bbqd pizza sounds delicious!
