What a cozy video. Your tree is beautiful and the way the tree lights reflect off your walls just adds to the cozy ambiance. Your mom seemed so relaxed and cozy too-good for her-I hope one day I can be a grandma and share Christmas morning with my grandkids. Ben was amazing on the piano and your kids were soooo cute when they saw all the gifts! I LOVE your candle display in front of the window-so retro! I have a couple of those snow globes too-my boys bought them for me for Mother's Day a few years ago-I think from FB marketplace. Mine has a Christmas tree in one of them and a snowman with kids around him in the other. I put away the Christmas tree one but figured the snowman one is more 'wintery' so I am leaving it until spring! I just love the glow and the way the light dances on the wall when it is turned on. I also have a couple of those old fashion looking candle sticks that are battery operated-so I leave those on too. With the long dark evenings trudging along in Canada for many more months I am always trying to find a way to add coziness and light into my home in the evening. Anyway, I'm chatting too much so will stop but wanted to also wish you a Happy New Year to you and yours- your videos brought me (and others I'm sure) so much joy and peace this year. You have such a beautiful family Lindsay, it is always awesome to watch them together. It sure looks like you had a great Christmas holiday, the excitement on the kids faces Christmas morning was amazing to see and then watching them sledding with their new sleds was fun. It's great you had some snow for them to use them on. Little Ginger is looking bigger and cuter everyday, and how nice to get to see Sadie as well. I love the idea of a secret Santa gift within the family, and how fun was it to watch Audrey and Emily wrapping gifts together. It's cute seeing Emily help Audrey with the wrapping ❤ Wow they were sure excited with the sleds! Sledding is such fun. Your Mom looked quite cozy sitting in that chair ❤️ The tree and decorations are really pretty. I have the same lantern snow globe. I got it from Costco a few years ago. Happy end of school days for 2024, I cannot believe that in just days we will ring in the New Year of 2025, how crazy is that. Awesome lunches for the kids and they did pretty good with them. Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 Great lunches as always 😊 I hope you all feel better soon. Are you finally getting over the flu? Mom's have it hard when we're sick, our work doesn't stop. It's a nice break from making lunches. My husband goes back to work next Monday. We've been getting very mild weather and some freezing drizzle or rain. It's supposed to climb to 5°C this weekend and rain. We're going to lose a lot of our snow and our 2nd snowman lol ⛄️ ☃️ Christmas always goes by quickly. So much preparations and in a blink it's over. It was nice to spend time with family. Always lots of food. Last night we stayed home and watched Christmas movies. I made homemade pizza 🍕 We all got new pj's and throw's so it was nice. Audrey's glasses are really pretty, they look great on her. I hope you all had a great Christmas and Boxing Day 😊❤ Did you end up getting more snow? It's great that Dave is getting a break from work. Wishing you all a great weekend 😊❤

I arrived in Ontario about three hours ago. I’m staying overnight at brother and sisters in law. I believe I convinced my sister in eastern Ontario to make Nanimo bars.

Christmas hauls are so fun! We buy all the things we never buy, because it's Christmas!! January is a low-spend month for us where we use up freezer and pantry supplies and only buy fresh things as needed. I also use up points and gift cards to reduce the cost even more. I guess it's a pantry challenge, essentially. It also is a change from all the indulgences of the holiday season and hopefully a little healthier. Take care, I'm glad everyone is feeling better in your house.

We think our prices are high but some of yours seem really high. I have to always remind myself that pay, economy, etc. is different. Sorry illness affected Christmas, second channel I have seen where it has. Just enjoy and spend time, it's what really matters in the long run. Not perfection, food, gifts. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a nice one. And to all here as well. I'm not having one at all this year, things happen, but I still observe the day for what it is.
