Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 Jacob did a great job on the tomatoes. Love the door witch and the coloring tablecloth. I bought one once, they enjoyed it and so did I. That breakfast wrap looks delicious 😋. I like those also. The supper looks great. Are those egg rools good at Walmart? Your curtains are pretty, I like them. I'm going to start baking again Since the weather has cooled off. Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 Great haul as always. Wow a price that actually went down, there's a first lol. I haven't seen that in 4 years. Yeah, pickles are quite expensive now. This time of the year, the root vegetables tend to be cheaper. Just on time for stews 😋 Those are cute earrings. Great price on the shorts. Wishing you all a great weekend. 😊

Sadie is so sweet! All the golden doodles I know are somewhat hyper but she seems nice and calm. Great tomatoes Jacob, any that are somewhat orange, you can pick and put them on the window sill and they will ripen. We haven't had a frost here yet, but it will be soon. My garden is still going strong.

Those Halloween earrings are adorable!!! My youngest son LOVES Frank's Red Hot and uses it on everything. I can't even imagine how challenging it must have been to clean up the broken bottle. Did it make your eyes tear up? Thanks for sharing your haul the food always looks so yummy! I do my groceries on Thursday so this gives me inspiration! Have you guys had any of Jacob's 'space tomatoes' yet?

@@lilyelizabeth9080 the earring are super cute, I couldn't say no! Jacob was so sad when the bottle of Franks broke... Lol it was new too. He loves it on eggs especially! Yes, we have tried a few tomatoes and they are delicious!! They are just turning red now!! 😋😊We are thinking we might let the kids grow a small little garden next year, see what we can produce, Jacob took great care of his plant!

What a nice grocery haul, filled with lots of delicious goodies. We have been shopping less than we need to lately with the prices so high, passing on things that aren't necessary and buying lots of off brands, looking for deals wherever we can and trying to eat at home more often. We went yesterday to IKEA and picked up a bag of their Swedish Meatballs because we love them, but the have gone up to $15.99 a bag, they are yummy but we may not go back for more at that price, I can make them cheaper, but sometimes we pay for convenience. I also wanted to pick up some Honeycrisp Apples the other day at a local market but we passed as they were $1.99 each and while they were big I just felt like that was way too much money for an apple. We are shopping more now around deals and sales rather than around a meal plan, choosing to shop first and then build a meal plan around what we could find and afford. It's a bit disheartening, but we get by. Thanks for sharing your grocery haul with us Lindsay. I hope you are having a great week so far.

@@TheMtggrl Thanks, Tania. I shop the deals too (as you know) and I usually build my meals around that and not the other way around. I shop what meat and fruit is on sale that week. I find apples are very expensive too. But 1.99 for one seems ridiculous. They make it hard to make good choices, but even the junk food is expensive! I shop the off brands too for the most part. I find I have to. I hope things will change soon, they are making it impossible for people.

i know snack flavors may be the same in canada as the u.s.,but have different names. i wonder if the sweet chili heat doritos are the same as our spicy sweet chili flavored doritos. i did notice the color of the bag is different if they are the same flavor. the sweet chili heat is in a black bag and our spicy sweet chili flavored are in a purple bag.

Great haul! The sticks of butter from Walmart I love getting to cook and bake but can’t afford it anymore where I live it went up to $7.00!!! That’s insane so I’m trying to find somewhere else that’s cheaper. Inflation is crazy 😢

Also bacon went up here was at the grocery store yesterday it was $13.99 never seen bacon that high. Looked like it wasn’t touched. People can’t afford it. That was in the USA! 😢❤

Good morning! Hope you’re having a good day. It’s cooled off here to mid 70’s but it’s supposed to warm up next week again. My favorite kind of weather is mid 70’s. I call it baby bear weather..not too hot, not too cold, but just right lol. I always enjoy your grocery haul videos. I like to compare prices. Some things are cheaper here both others are cheaper there. I just paid $6.67 for a pound of butter. I think eggs are just under $5.00 a dozen. I’m ready for prices to go back down to affordable!! Hugs to all ❤

The church leftovers looked so good!! Both the sandwiches-don't sandwiches just taste better when they are cut into triangles? and the desserts-lucky Jacob😀! I love the English muffin garlic bread and cheese meal as well-I stopped your video to make a note for myself to have this for lunch tomorrow. I have one lone English muffin in my freezer! I'll have it with a side of yellow cherry tomatoes that my husband grew and we have so many I am eating them every day each meal and still we have so many! Your lunches are always great-great variety, nice balance between treats and meal and fruit-get lots of ideas,. If you ever have time I'd love to see a weekly lunch video of what you eat! Oh, I wanted to add that it looks like Ben has grown! He's getting taller.

I love how you pack simple but creative lunches. You pack things I would never think about packing. It’s great to see what they ate each day and if they liked it. I get tickled when they say they didn’t have enough time to eat certain things but, like all kids do, but have time to eat the treats lol.. I busted out laughing when you said that Audrey didn’t eat the spaghetti because it reminded her of worms!! Hope you all have a great week ❤

I have never woke Jacob up for school, not once!! Lol 7:30 is a big sleep in, in our house. Lol I got my groceries yesterday, I wasn't sure if stores would be open today or not. Have a great week! 😊

I've never heard them called pogo sticks. Around here they're called corn dogs. I had a teacher decades ago who called them corny (with a y) dogs.

Great lunches! Too bad that container you just ordered doesn't fit into the lunch bags-ugh! Audrey's dress was soooo pretty for picture day! Ben looked very sharp as well. I loved all those Friday treats. Too cute Emily got her own lunch AND got to empty it!! When my nephew was young and not in school he was jealous of his siblings that went. so his mom (my sis) would make him a lunch. He would announce to all of us that he was 'going to school' and then wander into the next room, sit down and eat his lunch. I think he thought school just meant eating from a lunch box-hahaha-so sweet
