most of my shifts start in the early afternoon and end in the evening! there are slight variations to the schedule but not by much! i WISH i could film on the job but that would be an easy way to get fired LOL

I know that dcp normally works on holidays and stuff but I will want to go home to see my family for more/less a week. So if I ask ahead of time can I get a bit of vacation time?

we do not get the benefits of being statused full time so we can't get guaranteed vacation time. a lot of CPs use facebook groups to trade or give away shifts!

we can request days off, but once again, those are not guaranteed! we find out if we get them off on schedule drop days!

I was wondering if you could explain how do you get into the parks, does it depend on how many hours your work or literally you can go whenever you feel like (excluding block outdates.)? Also, do you get passes to special events like Mickeys not so scary Halloween and Christmas events? Lastly, how much do y’all get paid and is it enough or should I consider having my own money. Hi! we get free park admission whenever we want (minus some blockout dates). We do not get free admission to any special after hour parties, however. when it comes to money. as long as you don't have to pay any outside fees (car, student loans, loans, etc.) what you make will be enough to live comfortably. otherwise, savings or an extra source of income would (in my opinion) be necessary.

some people take a semester off for the dcp while others take online classes while here! you just have to know how to manage your time if you go that route! i am doing the dcp post grad!
