Hi! A question, when I use white pan pastel, the color pencil Pitt Faber Castell does not color on the white pan pastel layer, but it only happens with the white one. The color pencil removes the white pan pastel instead of painting on it. Could you give me a hand please?

@@breinerrivera6004 you have put too much panpastel down and the PITT pencil is too hard ontop - using a softer white like caran darch will work.

Thank you very much für this video, I always find it very difficult to paint white fur, far more dificult than the dark ones.May I ask you a question about oil painting here ?I watched your video about materials (grea!) before and I would like to know if you clean your brushes during the painting sessions with Gamsol.And how do you make the final cleaning at the end?I was thinking about purchasing a great amount of Gamsol if it has such an extended usage.

clean with any odourless thinner, then I clean again with washing up liquid and water. if you wan you can just do the thinners thoroughly.

Absolutely beautiful. I have watched a few of your you tubes. I use pencils and multimedia. Thank you. Are pan pastels expensive? You are very informative. I mix pastels with watercolor, ink and even color pencils. It was out of necessity but sometimes I enjoy their high points but I have never used pan pastels. Thank you for the information. Jennie French pans are about the same price as a top quality pastel stick, but last MUCH longer.

I'd asked recently about how to keep the background clean when drawing with pastels. Maybe colouring the background is the answer but I'm frightened of ruining my drawing. Do you have any advice?

Jason, how do we make the paper like PastelMat, or Uart? Here, in the states the expense is just too prohibited. Is there some way we could make our own somehow? I don't know what the grit is like on the Pastelmat, or Uart papers so I don't know what to use as an alternative. Any help on this would sure be welcomed.
