Speculation got Bitcoin from 40 cents to over 68,000 ..... Telsa trades at a PE of 56 while Ford trades at a PE of only 6.45... Why? Some people say its only a car company but others say its a technology company. They dont make nearly as much or sell as many vehicles as Ford or GM... So how could a company that produces and makes less be worth more...... There’s way more to it that you are not factoring in. If XRP does capture a portion of the transfer business it would surpass bitcoin. At that point you have several factors working to up the price, use case from bank transfers/settlements and the associated fees, XRP would become the main exchange medium on exchanges, it would be wrapped and used in smart contracts, plus the FOMO of a coin flipping Bitcoin and it still being affordable. This could go higher than $100

Fomo would definitely increase the price, however in terms of transfers and settlements, the fees are not as large as you might think. The fees for European central bank are no where close to a billion dollars.

I enjoyed this video and I agree that payment processing alone isn't really going to be the main driver behind revenue for Ripple the company. Enterprise software, CBDCs and tokenisation of assets are all going to play a key role in the revenue that Ripple generates.

Yes, only if it gets crazy meme hype and even then it would be hard to hit $20. It's not a bad coin cus it has utility, but I don't think it will hit $100 unless the whole crypto market goes up to $200 Trillion. Good luck!

Swift revenue is not the whole story with ripple. Ripple do settlement as well as messaging(so they will get the bank settlement charges too) also ripple have ODL and other big projects. I love your work but I think this analysis needs more work.thanks

Fees are one thing. The value of the coin through transactions to accommodate financial institutions is something completely different. I think you're getting the company Ripple confused with XRP coin value with will be determined by market cap. If adopted globally, it will be worth substantially more than $100 to accommodate the transaction volume. Make sense?

I just wanted to clarify that transaction fees on the XRP ledger are burned. So, technically, ripple does not profit from XRPL transaction fees. Great video by the way, your calculations explain how much XRP will be burned if the XRP ledger has the same number of transactions as the Swift.

Yes, that is correct that it is burned. I just assumed that when coins are burned the rest of the coin's value would go up. Since ripple has 49% of xrp, ripple would make money if xrp goes up. It's a lot of assumptions, so no one really knows where it could land. This is more of an what if.

Hello You are talking about transactions, and I agree with you, but you forgot to talk about the intermediate currency, which is xrp, which will be used, and the topic will be completely different from what you raised.

Why is the topic different? Since XRP is the intermediary, it would make money from the transactions. The value of XRP is based on it's use. If it's use is only worth 100 Million dollars, then it shouldn't be worth 100 Billion dollars.

Quant is at 109.23 dollars and is not building out its infrastructure at a fraction of Ripple. which has connections with Banks, Credit cards, creating CBDCs with a variety of countries. Ripple provides the On demand Ledger and XRP the Token provides the crypto bridge between different currencies, gold and commodities. XRP is an example of a neutral bridge ( a digital asset )which can be used to bridge two different currencies quickly and efficiently," with in seconds and at pennies on the dollar which cannot be done by bitcoin or Ethereum. there fore just calculating transactions is incorrect and nothing but FUD but ok go back to playing with your Shiba or Doge coin and let us get back to the serious business or dealing with real world applications and transactions and lets see who is right.

Yes the xrp used for the transactions are burned, but supposedly burning the coins raises the price so it does pump up XRP and with Ripple owning 50% of XRP, they do make a lot of money. However based on Coinmarketcap, XRP has only burned 11 million coins since it was created which at its current price is about $4 million dollars over the last 7 years. So the burn/fees is almost negligible. This was what I trying to say over the past few videos.

Completely agree with your math. The only other variable that would increase Ripple's profitability is price per coin. Today it's at 50 cents but people were ready to pay 3$ at one point. If the law suit ends, 3$ is a realistic valuation because of retail and institutional investors. A makert cap beyond 120 billion $ for Ripple is highly unlikely in the next 5 years
