Wow. I am not physis and was struggle on how a vacuum called space could have expanded or felt more that it must have already been there before the big bang. After listening at starting around 22:00 I can see the same questions were asked then explained by the General Theory of Relativity. Wow! What an awesome time to be alive and have answers for some of the biggest questions even the greatest were stuck on!

And People forget that as humans we do not pass down our knowledge through our brains via genetics if it’s not taught and remembered via written language or some other method; All we have learned as humans can and has been lost after 1 generation missing the lessons. We can’t comprehend that Ancient people could have been smarter than us therefore we can’t comprehend how they could have accomplished some of the things they did. We conveniently forget that they could have access to knowledge we currently don’t have access too.

The book to accompany and further expand this lecture has - I assume, recently - been released. It was reviewed in The Evening Standard today (Thur, 1st June, 2017.) ','Reality is Not as it Seems,' by Carlo Rovelli.

I like these approaches. However one must first prove there are small unitary string dimensions implicit in any dark vacuum for gravity. So far no one has found them.

The earth is flat. Don’t let them tell you otherwise. Everything is on a 2 dimensional level and we hallucinate the 3rd dimension. Time is not moving but already there. Everything that could happen has happened and we are at a point on a linear path. But only able to move forward.

It's flat just like our phone screens are flat because we exist in a digital,pixelated reality aka some kind of computer coded programmed reality.

It annoys me to hear commentators ridicule pre-scientific attempts to explain reality when they had the ability to build pyramids - as if they didn't have minds. If you forget about an alien connection... mankind came out of millions of years of evolution very smart in natural law. They just didn't have the vocabulary to put the thoughts distinctly in any other form than metaphors and basic geometry. Phi and Pi were incorporated into ancient Greek and Roman buildings that housed the gods. Remarkable! Everything wakes and sleeps. That includes mankind.
@keefpankhurst94836 жыл бұрын
I can't help but wonder if future commentators will be mocking our present day understanding of the cosmos because there seem to be a lot of holes and discrepancies in what we think we know now.
@kahlread37916 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. We are so ignorant. We deliberately went to sleep at the end of the last glaciation. We had a purpose in this. Now we know everything there is about death - not life - and the world reflects this sad state. Some are waking now to sing a new song. Some are laughing. Hope you are one. Cheers.

Who is ridiculing the ancients? Not the narrator. Anyone that actually listened would know that. Some posts and comments have though and most I'm sure didn't listen to the entire thing let alone read the book

Poor Henri Poincare has been written out of history. Even the recent biography of Einstein mentions Pointcare's contribution to relativity theory. Rovelli just ignores a huge chunk of history and peddles the not persuasive scrip that Einstein just thought this shit up! Physics was moving towards relativity anyway. Lorentz came up with the local time idea and a few other physicists were coming up this ideas Einstein will soon gain the credit for.

Many think Einsteins Relativity is wrong, so I would not be in a hurry to claim it. As for Quantum theory, that is a load of garbage if I every saw it. The famous standard model predicts the universe should be dust... so much for that. They not finding anything at Cern... atoms are not what they think they are. Don't assume this science is right... you can change it for the better. The Morley experiment is even wrong... there is an Ether. One of the big things that happened is Newton thought there was an Ether. Einstein tossed it out... and that was a big mistake. So... go ahead and change it... granted main stream science censors free thinkers... its unfortunate. After Newton... I think science got lost...
