you are right sir. Doctors: 10+2 with excellent scores, coaching for entering into MBBS 1 year on average (only 60-70 thousands get selected out of 12 lakh or more), MBBS takes 5.5 years, 1 year rural service bond, 1 year to prepare for MD entrance, 3 years of MD training, 1 year for DM/MCh preparation, 3 years of DM/MCh training, few more years of experience (3-5 year) before you start trusting them, although they very qualified at this stage. Total =30 years of training in extreme situations with no compromises

I am glad you spoke out about the conditions of doctors in India. They don’t care about promoting knowledge or better training but they only crave for man power with all these service bonds for a pg/post pg. They want their PHCs to be filled with doctors where they pay them very less and provide no facilities. Things should change for the better. Medical field is not a factory.

I really appreciate you sir. I'm foreign medical graduates (Russia) , . currently doing final yr Ms surgery . I would have assisted about 570+ operation during my masters . Infrastructure of hospital in Russia is quite superb . Russian structured hospital- intensive care unit ( Re animatsia - Russian ) is located on speciality department on each and every floor . For example ( cardio Dept have cardio icu , infectious Dept have septic shock icu , neurology Dept have neuro icu, etc ) .. Angiography, MRI , USG , Computer tomography, physiotherapy , lab, etc services are well available. Treatment for patient is free of cost in Russia . There is no provision for transferring of a patient from one hospital to another, as infrastructure is well provided by government. But salary given to doctors are insufficient , since the treatment is free of cost .

In Medical colleges and hospitals, government is not providing the wide range of medicines, doctors have to prescribe the only medicines available in the medical stores of the hospital. On the other hand they are not allowed to write any medicine which is not available or the branded ones , on top of that docs are expected to be treating the patients very well. Post mbbs bond where there is no facility is a torture. Post pg bond is a double torture. Post super specialisation bond is the 3x torture. If you earn good amount of money, govt. Says that u will have to pay the income tax because out of your income govt. will do something good for the country. In my opinion doctors should be not be paying the income tax because they already are giving a lot... There is no security for docs in the country. Salary is not very decent as per the work load and qualification and the time one has spended. India should learn something from the western countries.

When I went to join as a tutor lecturer in neurosurgery in the govt hospital I studied MBBS I was told you will get salary after 1 year. Will the bank give me a loan for my expenses. I went back to the horrible private sector. Atleast monthly salary was assured.

Chartered Accountants Don't do such kind of labour. Bcoz most of them cler CA at the age of 30-35. And till than they need to do job at 15k to 20k p.m. half of what a resident doctor gets as a stipend. Also doctor use govt facilities to study. That's why govt make u work in rural areas. Whereas there is no colleges for CA it's a correspondence course with hardly 12%result in Final. 15%Inter 25%Entrance. Effective 0.45% become Chartared Accountants.

quacks is the major issue in india. most indian doctors graduated from government medical colleges more skilled and more knowledgeable than many physicians from other countries. The quack without education, Homeopathis, unanis, ayurvedas all practice modern medicine without any legal issues where as a well qualified MBBS or even MD MS etc often become victims. The corrupt politicians for votes and Corporate Hospitals that sprung like mushrooms in 1990s in India are to be blamed for the current situation. There must be a police division fully dedicated to enforce laws related to practice of medicine regulated by Central government MCI. Just like Railway police, central Industrial police force etc.

@@tomcage123 in USA also there is alot of problem of debt and the md were committing suicide recently because of insane workhours although not like India. But search it up. In India you can make the same amount of money though you can't enjoy because of the bad infrastructure. Like where would you drive your BMW? In holes and rain water. But you wont have family in USA that might make you depressed though you can enjoy in india with your family. But both paths are not easy. Needs to do insane hardwork plus you will never be billionaire might become millionaire but it rearly happens. If you are in tech you can become so rich with half the work done.

अरे भाई डॉक्टर ५.५ इअर mbbs & १year rural service after that he can also earn ५० thousand rupees as a medical officer .but many engineers after completing 4 year btech and 2 year mtech struggle for job ,and if they get job then their salary may vary 10 to 15 thousand per month .how can you survive in city areas ,but mbbs can earn 50k in rural areas

I opted for secondary dnb in a govt district hospital after my dgo....and iam not getting my stipend of 27k since 11 months....and iam single..it is really becoming to make living....and they r not at all consider with my stipend ....and iam sincere at my work..and i came from very much remote village of telangana....with too much struggle.....iam really really regreting to choose this career.....i was the topper in my class since childhood ofcourse in govt school....now iam getting difficulty to pay rent to my apartment.....so my sincere request who ever watch this....unless u r richy rich...just to be called as doctor .......dont opt this profession ....especially in india....

India sending satellite to sky And see RESERVATION RESERVATION is OK But , only 1 in lifetime per family So , all SC/ST/OBC family get benefit from RESERVATION once in life & RESERVATION in UG ( MBBS / B E) is OK But , surely not in PG/SS Service doctor , must get extra 1 lakh in rural posting But , concept of NEET is useless , if they get reservation for providing service High time , DR. should just not study , but , enlighten people about what is going on As the people making rules Gets treated in APOLLO / AIIMS / FORTIS / UK / USA only poor will die

Look for a job outside India, lots of of opportunities in u.s.a ,u.k,canda ,gulf e.t.c , lots of money , doctors are earning . Leave as soon as possible and u can earn lakhs of rupees and crores outside India in a short time and enjoy lavish lifestyle rather than wasting time on useless government hospital's here.

Atul Singh do you know how many years it took to become a doctor with degree it will took around 13-15 years. Now here is a doctor who has given 5 1/2 years for MBBS, 3 years for MD/MS and 1-2 years of DM/Mch, lets assume minimum 5 years of experience, that's make a total of nearly 15 1/2 years of his life. Do you think the salary is good for an over qualified person. Now also you are thinking like that then puts your 10-15 years of your life and then how you feel it.

That's a joke. Situation is extremely difficult. Global standards and professionalism is very high compared to India. UK/US is out of question. To get job there, Doctors need to redo residency to get license. In other countries, UK/US students are given priority. Then where will we go?
