Reality of Travel to Boracay in 2021

You almost have to build a spreadsheet and project manage all the necessary tasks that must be completed before traveling to Boracay. It is probably best to keep paper copies (not digital) as you will be asked again and again for hotel bookings, flight info, test results, local authorizations. Try Cebu next time when going to Boracay. Manila is absolutely nuts! I stood in line for 3 hours and nobody knew where my ticket was. I had to get the manager walk over to another location with me in person because they kept sending me back and forth three times to each location. Then they realized one of them was wrong and made up a new ticket. I avoid Manila airport at all costs! Period! Enjoy Boracay!! I want to be there before the year's end with my fiance.

In Australia our government have frozen our ability to exit Australia. And with a Balinese partner also being frozen out of Australia due to travel restrictions. Damn, and I remember the last time I flew out of Manila, Philippines heading back to San Francisco, USA…I had scheduled a 10pm flight… there were 2 flights departing Manila non stop to San Francisco to choose from, a 10pm and an 11pm flight. Well, I thought I would take the 10 pm flight and get home an hour early, but well, you guessed it, they cancelled the 10pm flight and moved me and everyone else to the 11pm flight. (I think PAL (Philippines Airlines) does that on purpose… if not enough people are booked on both planes, they just bump everyone on to the 11pm flight, to save money, so I got stuck waiting an extra hour to board the plane and I had already been sitting there for 4 hours, due to security check points and they took my water, so I had to wait 5 hours total in the security pen waiting to board, thirsty as fuck… because once you went through the security within the security you were basically held hostage… hahahaha! But like I said, as much as that sucked, at least that was pre pandemic, 2 years ago, and I didn’t have to put up with the COVID bullshit on top of that. Honestly, I’m not flying anywhere until all this bullshit is done and over with, because post 9/11 air travel is annoying enough with out all the added Covid requirements. What a expletive nightmare! Hahahaha

What a PITA. The last time we stayed in Boracay we were at the Fairways and Bluewater Boracay Resort where your boat docked. They have nice beaches and it's a good resort, especially if you like golf. We'll have to try the Shangrila next time.

There is no testing for domestic flights anywhere in the U.S. That is crazy. The IATF said you did not have to wear face shields outside. I do not think I would plan a trip to Boracay if I have to go through all of that stupid processing flying from Cebu. That's nuts.
