Fantastic Trav.!!! This is just the kind of vlog from you that makes your dedicated fans. Loved the mini exploration of Bend, but especially loved your discovery of the Whitewater River Park. I just finished the South Fork of the American River out of Coloma, California whitewater rafting, Class III, and had an absolute fill. Like Sam, I too am a water baby. I love a good raw day in the life! It’s hard for me to imagine having a doggie in the van and all the constant extra decisions that requires...He sure is cute though. I’m constantly out in national parks that don’t allow them, so that would make it even trickier. Loved the video man - so glad we got to meet at the open roads fest! Always extra fun watching someone you’ve met in person, and your content is very enjoyable/real. Do you ever deal with burnout as a full-time creator on the road?

ayyy thanks jessa 🙌 that definitely makes it a huge challenge at times but he's been with me since the beginning so I sort of just learned how to do it as I went. I use Rover when I want to go on a little solo adventure :) And saaaame! really grateful we crossed paths. I love meeting other passionate creators as well. I deal with burnout from time to time. Sometimes it feels like i'm not sure what direction to head with the videos or i'm just not feeling inspired. That usually means I need a little down time to recharge and feel that creative energy return. Or watching other youtube creators can help get me inspired for more. Would love to chat more about this with you and hope we meetup again!

I'm glad to see Sam wearing his shoes on the concrete. Does he ever get a bath? I know laundromats have dog washes now so maybe you could multitask? Or do you ever think about taking him to a dog daycare if you have business for the day? Thanks for showing the river surfing with the rapids. The Norfolk city government got a ton of money to 'improve' the 'river' which is more like a creek into something with rapids for kayaking and possibly surfing. I'm glad that you are showing a regular work day. I don't think people understand how much time it takes content creators to process, edit and upload footage.You do spend a great deal of time alone working so I'm glad you've got Sam. Have fun, stay safe and give Sam a pet for me. Can't wait to see another van gathering.
