Federal prosecutors say the “Chrisley Knows Best” stars swindled at least $30 million from community banks between 2007 and 2012. A jury found the couple guilty on all charges.

I honestly believe when people audition to go on reality tv, from the start they want to project a wealthy life, and so they borrow or do things to portray that life, in hopes that the reality tv success will pay off their debt. I remembered an article came out whereby Greg Leakes had stated that he basically gave (not sure if he borrowed or what) Nene a certain amount of money for her to buy clothes etc and for them to fix up their home, when they found out she was going to be on television. In other words, they weren’t considered part of Atlanta’s elite or wealthy families prior. But just judging from Nene’s behavior in season 1 and 2 alone, Stevie Wonder could have seen she was rather unpolished. It is such a shame people go to these lengths. Reality tov is suppose to showcase your reality and not a made up version.

In many of these cases, the people inflate their assets for loans and other making money situations. Then they deflate their assets when it comes to paying taxes. Either way, the rest of us would face severe punishment and have to declare bankruptcy. When the rich do this, they just get more money.

Never liked their show. Felt the show was over the top phony, a lot like the Gottlieb reality show, 🤢. Always thought Todd was too feminine. How they portrayed a “holier than thou” attitude and were actually major criminals. The full extent of the law needs to be passed onto both of them.
