Cali in a recent stream said in her own words that getting into Hololive requires you to be able to get along with people. They really hit a gold mine with myth and Ame. Not only did all five of the girls appeal to different target audiences, but myth was able to click so well together both on and off screen. I'm glad Cali and the others are able to keep in touch with Ame, and I look forward to future collab or even off-collabs together. Also going to be keeping my eye out for the detective, and what form she might take in the future.

A lot of VTubers are. If you think about it, streaming is a weird hobby. You put yourself in front of a lot of people, which sounds extraverted, but you do it (usually) alone, sitting at a PC in a room by yourself, which is something extraverts don't do as readily as introverts (since they don't need "recharge time" like we do). And if you're a VTuber, even more so, you're putting up a barrier of sorts with the model and stage name. So you're kind of double insulated from the social pressure of talking to potentially a lot of viewers. It's still there, of course, but not nearly as bad as it might seem.

I always assumed Kiara was extroverted. I think all of Advent are introverts, Cecilia at least is an extrovert, and I’m not sure if there are any extroverts in Promise.

​How outgoing/confident/sociable people are does not exactly correlate to intro/extraversion. Someone can be a very outgoing introvert, who loves hanging out with people but gets drained from it. Someone could be an extrovert with social anxiety, which is a killer combo.

Introvert/extrovert is not a measure of how sociable a person is. It's not even about how long their social battery lasts and how long it charges back up. Being an introvert/extrovert is a measure of WHERE your social battery gets it's charge. That's why the pandemic was a hell for a lot of extrovert and a paradise for introverts. If you're an extrovert, it means you gain social energy in public social situations, and you try to stay away from alone time as much as possible. See: Ted talk speakers, businessmen, politicians, actors. On the opposite end, being an introvert means you thrive in non physical social interactions and abhor face to face contact.

Nah Kiara is also an introvert, she just is determined and enjoys social situations but only for a certain amount of time

"We're very similar, except you're not putting on a facade of being an extrovert" Whenever I try to come up with a reason for why Ame became my Kami Oshi, whether it be for myself or when someone asks, I always settle on "She's just so real". She never really exaggerated or stifled any parts of her personality when just talking to chat, interacting with others, or even when trying to be funny. She would always explain her hesitations and habits to chat, actively avoid situations she was uncomfortable with, and tell us to deal with it. Sure, there were always 3 walls up around her due to your typical 'VTuber has to keep her privacy' rule but that 4th wall was torn down and tossed in the trash very soon after they debuted and I was addicted to what she poured out of it onto her fans in each stream these past 4 years.
