You get to work with different cultures because you work at south tip of the Finland. Before internet no one knew about Finland and Finland had only finnish culture. To find real finnish culture you have to make a trip to the middle/north -Finland. I like watching these reactions how people take finnish culture and do they understand the core of it.

Totally agree about life and balances in Europe… like taking a break, leave or sick break, culture is different and walang Marites or ingit etc.

I saw ur earlier vid and u were saying u didn't know anything about the country but just about Nokia. Well, the first Miss Universe was from there. Her name is Armi Kusela and got married to a Filipino (from a well off family) surnamed Hilario. She became a widow when her husband suffered a stroke and died. Since then she married an American and has lived in the US. I don't know if she's still alive.

I know I'm not really qualified for this but from my experience it does happen, against any ethnicity, but it is thankfully pretty rare and I personally haven't heard/seen of any racism in professional settings (but I am sure it happens). Racists are everywhere, they always are, but overall you should be alright in Finland. However the recent events have impacted me a lot though so I am afraid what the future might hold if the political landscape keeps going the same way it has.

Finns do not have any consept of what would be rasism against filipinos. It's like asking how brazilians see mongols. At first finns will see filipinos as asians until they know about nationality. Old finns see asians only as hard working people and they feel awkward using english. Other finns have nice expectations from all the asians. So in short it all comes down to the first moments.

You are right. people who come in finland mostly misinterpret racism vs just being finns. The more i get to know the culture the more i understand ​@@Redfizh

I don't think there is much racism against any foreigners here. At least in Helsinki region, since it's pretty international. Some older people might get frustrated if you don't speak Finnish. They don't usually speak English very well or at all. The only concern (which is not a real concern) is drunks or drug addicts that might come at you. Even I have been called a Russian slut by them, and I'm 100% Finnish 😂

@@doginist di po pare-pareho pero pwede namang umalis dito. Ang kagandahan po dito sa Finland pag may pamilya ka sulit na sulit mo ang mga benefits. Malaki ang tax pero education ng mga bata up until college ay free. Di hamak na maganda healthcare dito. Di po talaga yan na.aapreciate ng mga single. So kung di gusto dito free naman umalis. At magpayaman sa ibang bansa kaysa mag rant ng rant.
