I don't know what planet Deion was on when he was drafted; there were plenty of black people in authority positions in the 80s - politics, police chiefs, businesses, media. Deion is stuck on the race narrative. It rarely goes well when players have "backstage" parents who want to dictate the what/where/who of their son's pro career. Sidenote: Those cities Deion speaks of that are run mostly by black politicians are often s-holes and have deteriorated as the political, school admin, and other power positions have gotten blacker. I don't understand how a sports commentator can be undecided / undetermined on the quality of player someone is. The FILM is out there, watch it. Once you've watched it, objectively evaluate the execution/performance of the fundamentals of the position. You can recognize Warren Sapp is a phenomenal Dlineman from his get-off, hand-placement, agility, power and quickness - you don't need to see the result of a play or his stats to KNOW what you're dealing with. THIS is where Shedeur fails miserably on the smell test.

Against Stanford he did play bad but it was his first game back his injury so he probably wasnt all there. If you watch his talent level, I just don't see how any gm wouldn't draft him first round. He's a generational talent just needs to put on a bit of mass so he can avoid injuries. Shedeur I wouldn't pick and personally I don't think he's an NFL level QB. He's honestly below average for college.

Americans today believe they are entitled. Players, coaches, fathers. The NFL is an American institution. It is way bigger than any player. Every player in the NFL can be replaced by the teams fairly easily without missing a beat. Owners do not want to be told by players who they will play for and how much they will be paid. Owners do not have to agree to the demands. They can pass and draft someone else. I have no idea if Shedeur Sanders will have a 10 year career in the NFL, but I am pretty sure the Buffalo Bills will survive and prosper for the next ten years despite Sanders not wanting to play there.
