If I listen over and over again English news or podcast like this without subtitle or transcript even just listening and I face on some words that i don't undersrand, are you guarantee i can comprehend on it?

Your channel is amazing. I couldn't agree more how right you are, from my experience I am Spanish and I have been living in an English speaking country for almost ten years and as you say things don't happen just like that you need time to assimilate everything you learn day by day. I used to wonder why I didn't know one thing or the other at that time but it doesn't work like that you have to give yourself time to put everything in order and in a context to figure out everything else. Anyway you never stop learning and this applies to everything in life

What can I say about this video? In a nutshell, thank you so much. It's a diamond. I mean, when you reach the intermediate level sometime you may feel lost. You don't specially know what to do to make progress. But thanks to this video everything makes sense. And you know what! I just took the train leading to the next level.

I find it useful to do a language immersion for a few months and then rest for a while before immersing again. Otherwise, you will progress very slowly indeed.

Congrats! That Podcast is amazing. Well... I have a question for you, guys: what would you recommend for learners that have already been in contact with the English language by learning themselves or at traditional courses, but for some reason had stopped learning or lost contact with the language for a while (or years) and now don't know how to restart studying? I feel discourage and ashamed cause I've studied English for years at College but still feel totally insecure to speak a word in English. That shame made stop studing.

Truth to be told i was surprise there are more things to learn in any language including English, now i'm intermidiate i guess, however, still rely on google translate, is that okay? Note: Challenge yourself in English is needed but we should care also about our well being, don't take English level that too tricky for the sake of new words, Mr. Bob the canadian once told us as his subscribers that every little bit counts.😊

Cassie, if you want to learn Brazilian Portuguese, the first thing you need to know is that normative grammars for Portuguese describe a fictional language, they don't describe the real language people use. This is also true for English, but not in the same degree. If you don't know this you can feel lost when you listen to people. It is not a question of vocabulary, it is a question of grammar: mainly the use of pronouns. What people actually say is considered "wrong" by the grammars.

Hi Eduardo, thanks for your feedback. As a language learner herself, Casse was just sharing her pain points and hoped that it might be helpful for other language learners, of English or of other language. The process is pretty much the same, right?
