When I read the comments here, I am once again reminded of how blessed we are to have you as an ''online;'' pastor! ( not that I need a reminder ) You are such a wonderful teacher, and love how you explain that what we need to know. A million thank you's! xxx

Yes, most pastors deny these things. My church has never touched this, to my knowledge, but I would guess they hold the Sethite view. Pastor Hibbs interprets the verses correctly, as they were written.

Great teaching Jack...when you talked about Lazerus, it reminds me of my many Sat morning chats at the breakfast table with dad when I was still home, he said the same thing.. parable never names people, therefore this can't be a parable, it really happened!! Thanks Jack!!! God bless you!!

Great teaching! I really enjoyed it and listened closely, As a young Christian I was born and raise from a Christian family, I believed in God and Jesus as the savior. But in the past few years since I came to the US, I began to question My faith in God due to those diverse religions, and the way that I see people blindly believe in them, I wonder if it isn’t the same for me as a Christian. So I started to talk to people about it and they told that I need to get to really know God, cause it’s the only way I’ll find the truth.So I decided to start that reading the Bible from the beginning (Genesis). As i read a long I figured out that I was just having more doubts than before cause I began to question things, one of them is been mentioned by the preacher here, When he said Noah Was found right in the eyes of God, I remember asking myself “How”? How was he right and how did God define that? Did he know what Pleased God?Did he had a Bible to tell him what was good or bad? Or something from God himself like the 10 commandments. So if someone can please help me understand, I want to built a relationship With God, I want to know more than I think I do,I want to get rid of my doubts. So please help 🙏

Just read through Genesis and came upon Genesis 6 today. Then listened to a little bit of Chuck Missler today on the nephilim to get more understanding and then your sermon popped up this evening and it's amazing how it all pieced together for me. Surely wasn't an accident. You do an amazing job explaining things Pastor. Grateful for your teachings here on youtube. God bless🙏❤

This ministry is a Blessing! The Lord Jesus Christ Saves... Ephesians 2:8-10 (KJV) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Amazing teaching. Answered many questions I've prayed about. My 14 yr old daughter had a dream a couple weeks ago. She saw the demon spiritual realm around people by the beach the people where partying and the demons were too. In the background she saw an army of demons coming to take over. Her dream seems to make more since from your teaching. Thank you

I recently heard a teaching on the Sons of God. The teaching was from two of your colleagues. They stated it was impossible for a spirit being to have sex since they are sexless. I always believed the way you have taught this message. It is clear what really happened via the Scriptures read during this teaching. Thank you.

How did Abraham know what was going on on the earth when he was dead. (His body that is). Do people in heaven know what’s going on as well? Who exactly is the cloud of witnesses. How can they be just the Old Testament saints? If Abraham saw the rich man’s sin do people in heaven view us when we sin or does the blood of Christ prevent them from seeing?

Jesus named Lazarus in this one parable because he knew he would raise a man named Lazarus from the dead, and that man would witness of the truth, and the religious leaders would still not believe. Jesus was making a VERY pointed point. And btw...almost half the time the Bible doesn't identify parables as parables. Jesus just starts telling a story, like he does with the other parables that are combined with the parable of Lazarus.

You need to stop worrying about offending anyone and watering down the message. The fact is in this age there is so much going on and if churches do not start being straight with the people and not worrying about being politically correct or offending anyone then reality will never hit home.

Is it possible to be truly saved but be lead into error and become such a mess you dont trust Christ like you should ? Im in such a confused state :(
@teresajean175 жыл бұрын
Mike Hill sounds as if you are searching, and finding your way back. We are human, and unable to trust as we should without acknowledging and asking for help from the holy spirit. If you don't deny Christ, you won't lose your salvation. But if you are not walking with Him according to His will, your life will not be full of available blessings, and instead full of unnecessary struggles. God bless you and thank you for asking.

@@teresajean17 Thank you so much I think my issue is I dont underatand what it means to walk with Him ive read my Bible prayed asked for help but it just seems empty and pointless instead of how it should be joyful and on fore for Him I feel like im doing religion instead of relationahip and I get downcast often because of it
@teresajean175 жыл бұрын
Mike Hill your journey sounds so similar to mine. I was born and raised in the SDA religion and it caused a lot of trauma. I was thinking my abandonment issues were related to my dad, but I realized it was also linked to God, likely related to my struggle. I didn't not really start understanding this all better until my 40's. I'm 45 now. I have 'grace love peace joy' tattoo'd on my forearm. Yet struggled to 'feel' the peace and joy. I was rebaptized in 2017 because when I was young I felt it was more because I was told to, and a membership thing. Anyhow, through many recent trials and struggles, it's become so much better. Able to be grateful for so many struggles because they threw me into the arms of God. Crying out to him has literally allowed me to receive and feel his peace. Sorry if I'm really off on this.
@Goldtaker235 жыл бұрын
@@teresajean17 Wow very similar to me! I was raised Chriatian teue Christian not just religion but I never recieved Christ until 3 years ago after watching a film called Jesus of Nazareth watched it over a few days and saw my sin ans His love through it I accepted Him asked forgiveness got baltised got a Bible went to Church all was great for about a month roughly then doubt started old sins started to come back and ive been in internal tormennt ever since struggling with doubts confusion sin all sorts I only felt the peace and knew I was forgiven the same week I was saved but when all this started its never come back Ive been close to depression a few times but I dont understand what to do ive asked God for help and strength multiple times I just dont get it. I dont k ow if its lack of faith on my part or me not seeing Him answering me and being lead by the wrong voices I just dont know :(
@teresajean175 жыл бұрын
Mike Hill you making that decision likely only made the devil want to work overtime. I've struggled so much with the mind stuff and depression. I often figured it was hormonal no longer being able to sleep well, but it simply could be the devil. It used to be so exhausting and my mind would go crazy. Now I've learned to enjoy it and simply put on a sermon. Love Charles Stanley but those will often put me back to sleep more than Jack Hibbs haha. I've also downloaded the Blue Letter Bible which I found allows me to play entire books of the Bible vs chapters. It's so peaceful and next to impossible to be tormented when doing all I can to stay focused on Christ. And remember, a feeling is just that. I think it's our human nature but focusing on a feeling or emotion will not bring us peace. But the truth in the word of God. Factual. What does the Bible say?
