Hey anu....let me share my story..... I had done btech from NIT jaipur then MBA as soon my masters got finished I got an offer from reputed company but the joining of that was on August 22 n got my studies over in May 15 .... The time was little long meanwhile my parents started searching for a suitable match for me....as I was very ambitious and happy to join the job I opposed that but they didn't listened ......but achanak I met a guy n I found my self very happy with him.... .n .. We got married ..... Didn't joined the job....... Now I do all the household chores daily without maid .... N I am really happy doing that ......bht log mujse bolte h y r u not working but mujhe lagta h ki agar m 9-7 ki job krungi then kaam kon krega.... I know bht logo ki need hoti h job to contribute financially but meine dekha Hai bht girls ek competition k liye job krti Hai ....please don't do that ...doing job is not like ki aap dikha pao ki mein Baki boys s upar hoon .....girls are beautiful creation of God we already have different personality from men isme koi dikhane ki baat ni Hai ....m not against working women ...the only thing I wrote this coz I read a lot of comments related to ...ki anu don't you feel bad sitting at home....why should she feel bad ...but anu is a proud lady that she is able to take upon all the household responsibilities which most of us can't..... Love yourself ........ N don't do jobs to compete with men .....do it for yourself ...... Also I wanna add that ...anu you are my motivation ...I had learned alot from you ....not only healthy food but healthy n motivation talks .... whenever I feel to take a break from all the household chores then I watch your old videos to get charged n get back to work with full pace.....lots of love

Really touching. I would just like to give my thoughts as an extension of what you have already said. Many of us ,myself included, never wanted to leave India but fate pulls you wherever it has to. None of us can change what is written for us and I always tell people that if they are living in thier own country they are the luckiest people on earth. Despite whatever inconveniences there is a charm to life there and nobody can remain totally happy if they are far from thier country where they have so many ties and memories. Having said that you do gain certain things if you are abroad . I think the key factor is acceptance, it is the only way to remain peaceful. Certainly that feeling of rootless ess can never go away but let us all count our blessings. No matter how it appears on the outside nobody is a hundred percent happy and our life will be happier and more balanced if we accept whatever we are given, wherever we are

Anu... First of all let me tell you that every video you post I feel closer to you and want to meet you more and more. Every thing you said Anu in this video I can relate to so much. Lots of friends and family always criticize me for not working and at times I felt really bad. But what you said is really true. I think everyone needs to understand others choices and also not judge. I tried to to study and work but nothing worked out for me positively so I had to stay at home. But what you told makes me feel really good. Whether I am a working or Staying at home I am a good wife.... I shouldn't feel sorry for it. Also I completely agree that when you make a choice, it should come out of you. Thank you Anu for this awesome video. I always worried that maybe I was a bad wife. But today I really feel what you said is true. It really makes a lot of sense. Another thing Anu....I cannot believe that you were not organized before marriage 😊😊😊. It just makes me amazed the amount of energy you have. Lastly you have a beautiful voice Anu... I think you should definitely sing more. And I love India and miss it incredibly too. Family, The temples, the land, the atmosphere, the shops, the chat corners, the restaurants everything I miss here. A very happy Independence Day to you as well.

Anu ji dont know how to start. This video really touched my heart. I agree with what you said the grass definitely looks greener on the other side. I joined back work when my elder son was 5 months and it was not easy. And now after having my second child I am sahm and still its not easy but I am glad I am with my kids taking care of them yes some days are tough but thats how life is. Its not easy to live abroad I feel there are more sacrifices than the benefits and especially when you have a family back in India. Loved all the advice to gave. Anu! I could relate to each & every word in this video. My mother was terribly ill & i had to go all alone from here(USA).My worst phase was when she expired i had to travel all alone from here. As you rightly said, pros & cons of staying in this country. But yes life is such we have to move on. It doesn't give us choices. We all have to be strong & deal with whatever life has to offer.😊 Loved hearing you again! You are a sweetheart. 😊The way you express & explain is very touching. I waa in tears watching this video. Feels good. Thankyou. Hugs.

chose to be stay at home with a work from home job and occasionally sulk on ‘ not being that women in stilletos’ but being ‘ a mum in pjs with a laptop’. I knew that a mum should be a happy person for the kids to see, whatever she chooses, but wasnt getting a hold on it .... your ‘think as an investment on a company called your family’ had me. Thank you. I now feel being in pjs and spending most of the time with kids is far more precious than wearing a pencil skirt with stilletos and commuting for 5 hrs.God bless.

I usually feel very tentative in watching videos titled SAHM vs working moms because of the possibility of any whiffs of sexism or martyrdom..those completely throw me off. I am so glad I chose to watch your videos. You are so practical and well balanced. Always the voice of reason. Always taking responsibility for your actions. I am very glad I found you.
