Awesome tutorial. This was what I was looking for. Thanks!!

How does this translate to unreal?

It would be amazing if you add a simple move brush or something like that to modify collision shape more accurately if needed to.

@reallusion how did you possibly get through this without skinning the cloth first? I see the dress is not following the legs, so how did you do that part?

So im still not sure how to import clothing from Marvelous Designer to CC4 *without* doing the motions in Reallusion first. Does anyone know where I should start off? My end goal is to create clothing that could be applied a CC4 character, which you could then go animate in Iclone however you choose.

Very good Tutorial. But I am using CC3. Is it the same this way?

it does work in Unity and Unreal Engine?I mean cloth animation

Physics export to game engines can be done in Alembic format
@hank48762 жыл бұрын
i wont recommend, its really bad with knees and hands penetrating the cloth no matter how good collisions are
@Hardcore02 жыл бұрын
@@hank4876 maybe you know better way how create cloth animation for game ,I know that different engines have their own for this, but perhaps there is the most effective and easiest way
@2sahn234 Жыл бұрын
@@Hardcore0 Depends on what physics engine ure game engine uses, I believe unreal and unity does have Nvidia Physx, there's physx plugin for Max and Maya , there are tutorials for how to set up collision bodies and aswell the apex cloth weight painting, and physx LODs, that can be exported to game engines

I love the simulation but a lot of dresses I have for my characters are gowns that are more puffy, the issue I have is that the cloth isn't puffy like a gown

How can I export the simulation to Blender?
@2sahn234 Жыл бұрын
Physics simulations are native to applications, with exception to some system such as havok, or Physx by nvidia which are exportable .. some times baked simulation can be exported as alembic or point caches .. This simulation is good for iclone or just render out poses. You need to recreate physics in blender,..

They now have a blender bridge. Don't think the physics will work the same though

eh CC4 is giving me a hard time, I'm doing it via blender and submitting the file, but the clothes just decide to tear into little pieces and float down. If anyone here knows the solution please let me know
