Great review as usual. Have had my eyes on this one after a couple of reviews, and will put it in my AE cart waiting for some sale (together with a bunch of others, then we'll see which ones that stay as usual lol). Love the size, a smaller chrono is always welcome and the pilot/flieger design with a chrono complication reminds me of one of my Escapement Time models, which is a Type A Flieger with two subdials. The only nitpicking I might have is that I would've prefer all markers and hands all white instead of different shades of yellow.

Got my eye on this watch as it happens, so it’s a very comprehensive and timely review for me. My only real concern is that it may be just a tad too small for my 8.5” wrist. Definitely the provided strap will be too short. Would like to have seen it in other straps. No steel/ titanium bracelet potential for that watch too. Enjoy your new watch! Cheers 😊

You might want to think about a leather bund strap. I wear bund straps on ALL my watches and it really can make a smaller case size watch pop!!! I generally like a minimum of 40mm watch sizes. I have a 7 1/2" - 7 3/4" wrist so a bund plate/strap set up is functional and comfortable and classic looking. There are some fine leather craftsmen out there making some really nice bund straps. The Italian made Dassari bunds are also very nice. I generally go with a 135/80 in length in the bund strap. Sizes can vary.

Cracking watch and you have some some great shots of it! I have a VK67 chrono in the Pagani 2720k. It's really beautiful in the cream dial and rose gold case combo and would love to see you review it. Any chances of that happening?

My greatest concern is the flyback seconds hand. After many many uses the second hand may no longer return to the 12 o'clock position. The only way to fix it is to open up the watch and re-position the hand manually

It’s beautiful, and your macro shots are amazing and so I am seriously considering picking one up. However, it seems the chrono seconds hand doesn’t align properly after being reset and that’s a qc issue in my book….

Thank you for sharing! 🙂 I spent so much time running the chrono and checking for any QCs issues on the actual dial that I only noticed that fraction of the millimeter misalignment once I re-watched the video 🤨 I am not exactly sure if it was me knocking the watch while filming or it was like that when it arrived, because, unfortunately (or fortunately 🙂), it is not exactly obvious unless you look at the dial straight on. Lesson learned. Well spotted and thank you for watching! 🙂👍

I ordered this watch directly from the Baltany website. Before I ordered it, I also watched a couple of KZbin reviews pointing out the chrono second hand misalignment issue. When my Baltany watch finally arrived, I discovered mine also had the same misalignment problem. Frustrating! Simply put, three KZbin reviewers, including Shiny Things, experienced the second hand misalignment issue on this watch, and so did I. Should I return my Baltany watch to China? No, I can live with it. For the price point, this Baltany watch is amazing. The sapphire crystal is awesome! However, some people may think otherwise, especially when they're spending $150. Baltany must resolve this misalignment issue if they want to continue to sell this watch with positive reviews.
