I own a 16-inch Macbook Pro with the M1-Pro chip & 1TB SSD. I bought it brand new & have been enjoying it for over 1.5 years now. Apple silicon Macs are awesome.

Someone also has the problem that the external monitor get flickering or vertical stripes while attached on a macbook with M chip? Testing tons of usb-c hubs from Amazon right now but this happens to all of them. Even bought a new cable. On macbooks with an intel chip this never ever happened nor on any windows laptop.

Guys I have to tell you, I like these videos a lot more than the dedicated sponsored videos. I think this is the way to go for sure. Pro tip for people on the go: You don't need a battery pack, just keep your macbook charged, and use it as a power bank to charge other devices on the go.

I still own my 13.6 inch MacBook Air M2 and it works. I’m gonna actually get a Type C cable for my iPhone to connect to my MacBook so I can transfer some of my files over to the computer. Gonna be sticking with it for a few years. Thx for the suggestion anyway Max Tech

It’s the constant “eject drive” before moving the laptop that kills me with external drives. That internal storage is mucho expensive, but gains in convenience.

Smart getting the 16GB and at least 512GB! There’s a very significant performance difference if you just get the base model (256gb / 8GB). I bought the M2 2023 15-inch Air (8core/10core GPU) with 1TB / 16GB and it is amazingly fast! I absolutely love Apple Silicon!!

I definitely prefer my storage to be internal but to avoid over paying, went with a certified refurbished 2023 15-inch M2 Air from Apple instead of brand new. Ended up getting 1TB and 16GB ram (8core / 10core) and saved myself about $200. Plus, came with the original 1 year warranty and the option to add Apple care.

I have a 30 watt Anker GAN and a 65 watt Anker GAN and I just take the one that I think that I'll need for my M1 Pro MacBook Pro. The 30 watt charges it very slowly while the 65 charges it more quickly. They are both quite small and I prefer this approach to the Apple charger. I haven't actually had a case where I need the 140 watt charger and I prefer to slow charge anyways as the laptop doesn't get as warm as with fast charging. I would tend to use the 65 when I need to charge additional devices off the MacBook Pro. It would be nice to have an additional USB-A because my watch uses USBA charging ports and I have to carry a dongle. I have a Swissgear thin bag which I carry my dongles and cables. I find that a bag really helps to avoid cable tangles. I got 1 TB of storage so I seldom need additional storage though I have external SSDs which I can bring if needed. The overall challenge is to keep things small and light and I have to figure that out for every trip. How long do I need to go on battery? Do I need to provide cables for others or maybe loan one in a pinch? The main thing is that I can completely charge my MBP overnight with even a 30 watt charger in a hotel room so I always try to go minimalist.

Ah! The poverty dongle! In a way Apple makes us all look bad. If you have an external SSD that completely ruins the sleekness of the Mac, you look like you are broke, because you bought a computer you can't afford.
