considering getting a harber London sleeve for my new MacBook just wonder how well your has held up and how the patina looks?
@PatrickRambles7 күн бұрын
Holding up great! It only has a slight patina, but that is probably because I hardly commute these days. It stays in my office mostly, except for travel.

Your timing couldn't be better, I just got my M3 Pro MBP 14 and I use it for travel and my primary computer at home. That is a beautiful monitor, very tempting.

@@PatrickRambles Love it, it's an excellent laptop. When at home I've got it hooked up to a Samsung 28" 4K Monitor and the usual peripherals, and when I'm on the road all I need is my UGREEN 100W charger for it and all my "walled garden" devices 😁

OMG! I just received my first MacBook Pro yesterday! As a multiple Mac Mini buyer (i've still got 4 of 'em) I never personally learnt 'til now what all the fuss about MacBooks was! Now I know! My first accessory for this machine has been an Ethernet-to-USB connector so I can still use all the kilometers of CAT5 strewn about my house. Wi-Fi? I can't even spell Wi-Fi!🤣🤣🤣 Aloha! And mahalo for all the recommendations!

Great video, I'm struggling to decide between the BENQ PD3225u in the video or the SW321c, they recommend the latter for photography but the PD3225u seems better for use with a MacBook. Anyone got any experience of these.
@PatrickRambles7 ай бұрын
Thanks Andy, I personally haven't used the SW321C, but it's true that the PD3225u is their "studio display killer". So if you're after that Mac look, this is the one to get. With that said, I edit videos primarily.

Super helpful video for a newbie MBP M3 pro user. However, I’ve been using a Benq 27” SW series monitor with the Mac Studio M2 Max for over a year, and as someone who primarily still shoots 35mm film the SW was a better option for me and is a great photography monitor. Love the colors on it. Now with the arrival of the MBP I’m wondering if it’s worth switching to the Mac ready PD series.

I say: pay apple to get 512, I've used 512gb ever since I bought the M1 air. I do some kubernetes, and other container crap fro local development. I have starcraft installed, I can say that it just works. After that all my things that need storage just live in external HDD/SSD stuff. 256 is way too little.
