Hello my dears! I hope you’re well and having a nice January so far 💜✨ This video was filmed in November - I went to Venice and then Paris and it was an amazing trip! I didn’t expect to find all those huge and rare plants in the shop in the second half of the video!! I’m also delighted that I finally got to speak some of the French I studied in school for so many years haha 😊🥐 Thanks for checking out these Parisian plants with me! 🇫🇷🌿✨

Wow this was a great plant shop tour! I thought 1 or 2 plants looked thirsty, but I realized with Paris’ climate and lighting conditions, they probably benefit from some periods of dryness. Whatever it is the plants are all stunning 💚

Also here to say - I really hope if you’re living in/near LA that you and your loved ones are safe ❤️ A few people have reached out to me asking if I have been affected by the horrible fires and I just want to let you know that I’m fine and live pretty far away from those currently affected areas. I’m just praying for the safety of all the friends and planty pals and emergency workers and everyone and pets and animals in LA who are living through this ❤️🩹 May these next few weeks bring some rain and cleaner air and an end to the blazes

^^ Bises!

I discovered this place truly by accident. As I walked from Norte Dame and was exploring. I love plants but couldn’t buy a thing as I would be going back to NY. Agreed the Oxalis is speaking to me as well. May end up buying plant from Etsy. Thank you 😊😊😊

Ooh that sounds like a fun theme day for videos! 🥰🥐 I didn’t get any vintage designer stuff but I did spend longer than I had anticipated just staring in awe at the giant Louis Vuitton store shaped like their trunks on the champs elysees hahah🤩 thanks so much for watching I hope you’re having a great week!😊💜🌿✨

youre french!!! Ive tried to learn for years so i could speak with my nana in french but could never get to the level i could hold a conversation! how did you learn before your trip?
@reallybigplant18 күн бұрын
Aww I love that your motivation was to speak with your nana! So sweet 🥰 I studied French in school from age 10-17 so I had many years of tutelage, also spent some weeks on an exchange program living with a French family in Rennes when I was in high school and they barely spoke any English so there was a lot of pressure to get conversational really fast!! Since then I try to keep up with practicing by watching French news or rewatching my favorite shows in French 😊 in the weeks leading up to my trip I binged through a fun Netflix show called L’Agence / The Parisian Agency about a French family who sells super fancy properties to rich people mostly in Paris and I think that helped too, although I learned a lot of expensive real estate vocab that I doubt I’ll ever use haha 🏰✨ thanks for watching I hope you’re having a nice week!💜😄🌿

Fun! I love your theme music 😂! J'aime le langue Francais aussi, J'ai l'etudie 6 ans mais ma conversation et grammaire est horrible. J'ai peur de mettre cette paragraphe dans tradicteur(?).
@reallybigplant18 күн бұрын
Ah yay thank you!! Merci ☺️ it seems like you know your stuff though, n’aie pas peur! Also I’m about to make a big generalization here, but I have always gotten the impression that French people tend to be very welcoming of non native speakers attempting to practice French (at least in my personal experience) 😊 Although at this point I’m kind of afraid to type stuff out in French because I feel like it exposes every little grammar thing I may have forgotten haha! Thanks for watching and sharing your French skills 🥰💜🌿✨

Okay, now I feel like we need a story time with you on the languages that you speak and reason behind you learning them, places you traveled and hope to travel to😂. My mouth dropped seeing that Pilea. A very enjoyable video, thank you🛩👏🪴🌿

I have always been wondering why in the US people do not pronounce the “h” in herbs while they do pronounce the “h” in his, her, heart etc 😂😂
