My hometown! I like the idea of Aglaonema being supported against a green wall like that. As they get taller and the cane develops, they could potentially snap, depending where you put them. In a way, with the cane growth, they’re like old world "Dieffenbachias". And vice versa. It seems there are multiple parallel genera between Asia and the Americas with aroids. New world has Epipremnum, old world has Scindapsus… old world has alocasias, new world has caladiums.

Also, the San Diego Zoo has an amazing botanical collection and gives botanical tours, as does the SD Safari Park. The SDSP has a fabulous bonsai collection!

I’m glad to see the money tree separations made it. I saw that video when you look it apart. I kill every money tree I get. I hope Home Depot gives you your 150.00 so you can buy another one. I love to see all the plants you have and love your new house.

Wow this was a great plant shop tour! I thought 1 or 2 plants looked thirsty, but I realized with Paris’ climate and lighting conditions, they probably benefit from some periods of dryness. Whatever it is the plants are all stunning 💚

I love my string of turtles... I've moved it all over, never seemed to mind... I even put a clipping on top of some floating plants in my aquarium, just to see what would happen.... It's growing!

Really nice video. I love your conversational style. Some of these plants grow wild in west Africa and often to a humungous size.. They would make really spectacular house plants!

Je suis contente que la visite de la Capitale t'ai plu! Je ne savais pas que tu parlais aussi bien français, même si on a déjà échangé quelques mots sur Instagram. C'est chouette de voir quelles plantes sont disponibles et à quel prix , il y a de grosses différences, même dans un même pays! J'habite en Haute-Savoie, et j'aime bien regarder les jardineries tour de magasins français , mais aussi d'autres pays. Je te regarde toujours sans sous-titre, ça m'exerce à apprendre l'anglais. ^^ Bises!

Hi I really enjoy your videos and your energy glad I found your channel I’m watching your succulent unboxing now and want to get some new ones … I’m pretty new to succulents and learning. I just had a cactus bloom with pink flowers I didn’t even know that was possible lol… i saw bulges on top of the cactus and thought it was dying.. where did you buy them I know your mentioned you earn a commission and want to make sure you get that if I buy.

Oh and also how long did it take your diffenbachia (sp) to get so large I have had to put mine in a vase with water I thought I saw an issue with the roots. If you can share any tips I’m going to put it back in a pot and I love yours I think it’s a statement plant even thought most people think it’s quite common. Have a great week thank you

A wonderful love letter to Snake Plants! For years these were the only plants I could avoid killing. I’m going to seek out some of the other non standard variants shown here! Loved the Cleopatra, the whale tail, and the baseball bat!

Also I’m about to make a big generalization here, but I have always gotten the impression that French people tend to be very welcoming of non native speakers attempting to practice French (at least in my personal experience) 😊 Although at this point I’m kind of afraid to type stuff out in French because I feel like it exposes every little grammar thing I may have forgotten haha! Aww I love that your motivation was to speak with your nana! So sweet 🥰 I studied French in school from age 10-17 so I had many years of tutelage, also spent some weeks on an exchange program living with a French family in Rennes when I was in high school and they barely spoke any English so there was a lot of pressure to get conversational really fast!! Since then I try to keep up with practicing by watching French news or rewatching my favorite shows in French 😊 in the weeks leading up to my trip I binged through a fun Netflix show called L’Agence / The Parisian Agency about a French family who sells super fancy properties to rich people mostly in Paris and I think that helped too, although I learned a lot of expensive real estate vocab that I doubt I’ll ever use haha 🏰✨ thanks for watching I hope you’re having a nice week!💜😄🌿

Also here to say - I really hope if you’re living in/near LA that you and your loved ones are safe ❤️ A few people have reached out to me asking if I have been affected by the horrible fires and I just want to let you know that I’m fine and live pretty far away from those currently affected areas. I’m just praying for the safety of all the friends and planty pals and emergency workers and everyone and pets and animals in LA who are living through this ❤️🩹 May these next few weeks bring some rain and cleaner air and an end to the blazes

Hi Reallybigplant . Over here on the East Coast, DMV area, there is a Weis Market that has been getting nice plants. I have bought three within the past year;one, Calathea Angela, one Scindapsus Exotica and most recently a Philodendron Summer Glory. I was just watching a video you did from a couple of years back about repotting Diffenbachia because my older neighbor needs help with hers and you mentioned your location. I’m praying you are alright there in Southern California while the fires are raging. God bless you and thanks for all of your wonderful videos. 🙏🏽
