not worth it. even with the video.. online instructions. instructions from the official website. and the website you get the mod from... game still randomly crashes. deletes and corrupts saves. (another video says don't save around certain days but thts another another video) community is disorganized unhelpful and rude.

For those having the dll issue, the unblock check box is in the general tab. Not Security.

Yeah indeed, for some there are no blocked DLL’s. So if you don’t see the option to unblock them there is no problem and you can just start the game

The horse stops quite quickly when loading up (in the bottom right corner) - is this expected on first load up or is this it crashing?

It might not be unzipped. Extract the ROT mod into a separate folder before copying them into the modules folder

I've unblocked all .dll files, or at least I think I have as I get no more .dll error messages on loading, now I just get a popup window saying "The application faced a problem. We need to collect necessary files to fix this problem. Would you like to upload these files now?" any ideas?

@@Iven123 it's alright mate I figured it out - I was running too new of a version of Bannerlord, which was causing the game to outright crash just before the notification of Ned Stark's execution. Reverted back to an older version which is compatible with the mid and that fixed it

So i downloaded and did everything, however all my mods (ui externder, harmony, and the others) are from the steam workshop, ROT is from moddb. I launched the game and it looks like it froze, my pc isn’t saying the app isn’t responding, but the guy with the horse on the bottom right corner isn’t moving. So is it just from the loading time or is something wrong?

That’s what we intended. The nights watch plunders the north and the free folk attacks them but they don’t take castles. You can disable this in the mod menu

@TerraDean. I've found that my issue was just because I didn't wait long enough, it won't show your character and when you press next just wait like 10mins and it'll load. It just has to take awhile loading then you can go back and create your guy no problems. Loads perfectly fine once you get into the game and go back to the menu to redo if wanted to. Try give it like 10mins after pressing next mate.

I seem to be having trouble installing the mod. I did everything you showed and when I went to go check the mods on bannerlord I seen the ROT mods there but not the harmony or extender mods so I tried to start over and see if I could do the process again so I deleted the mods but when I go to download them again from the nexus mods they seem to already be 7 zipped because they won't let me do it and I can't get the other folders to actually put in the file for bannerlord so I'm stuck. Any ideas or fixes please?

@Iven123 I did and put the folder into the game files but when I started it and check the mods it didn't have them but had the ROT mods so I deleted everything and tried to redo it but when I download them now they won't let me extract them and say they are already 7-zipped but aren't in the right folders to put into the game files

Hello, I have been experiencing crashes randomly for doing things such as going into cities, talking to army generals, etc. It hits me with the message stating: "The application faced a problem. We need to collect necessary files to fix this problem. Would you like to proceed?" How can I fix this. I also have a video recording of this crash as an example. I appreciate the help.

That sounds like a faulty extraction. Did you use 7zip to unzip? Otherwise send the crash report in our discord

Adding extra mods will be a process of trial and error. In our Discord, you can find a channel called compatible mods. In this channel, the community has compiled a list of mods that work, so check the pinned messages there. If you want to add mods, make sure to place them above the ROT modules.
