Well, you CAN get better results in some situations! In this Realme 10 Pro Plus camera test you'll find out whether GCam is worth using for selfies, night shots, landscapes, and more.
Here is the BSG GCam port I used for testing. I had a hard time finding a reliable port (probably because of the otherwise great Mediatek processor the Realme 10 uses) so feel free to test out other ports that could deliver even better results!

sad to see gcam losing , 1 I think that gcam works etter in moto, xiaomi devices and in bbk devices it just can't use the hardware properly maybe due to its ui not allowing Gcam to fully use the hardware of the device 2 Gcam is good in snapdragon devices , in mediatek ones it feels the same that the Gcam port isn't workig at it's full potenial in past devices like poco f1 , redmi k20/k20 pro , redmi note 10 series have done amazing job in Gcam photos. Now brands optimizes it's software to give overglowing and spotless skin, as masses likes it , but tech nerds always prefer that natural and sharp photos from a pixel device and Gcam. Btw love from India 🇮🇳

Hello Vedansh! I really enjoy hearing from viewers in India! I agree, GCams are generally developed for Snapdragon devices. I hoped this would change since Pixel's run a modified Exynos processor now--but it doesn't seem to matter even for Samsung devices. I think it's still worth testing out since it's free and might give you better results in some modes. And it's just fun, in my opinion.

Hello Ana! I would like to test it out for sure, but unfortunately this Realme video hasn't done very well on the channel. I don't think I'll be able to make another Realme video anytime soon (unless a sponsor sends me the device). Sorry, it does look like a great value!

Hello Imroz! I don't have the 3T in for testing, but I'm thinking the actual quality of the photos is better from the 10 Pro Plus, but processing was a bit faster on the 3T (if I remember correctly). You would have an easier time finding GCam ports for the 3T though. Sorry, I know that's not very helpful!

Hello! There may have been an OS update that has caused this. I suggest trying some other GCam ports. I don't have the 10 Pro Plus in for testing to tell you for sure which new port is more compatible. Sorry!

Hello Somu! I don't think I've come across a port that doesn't lag with Mediatek chips. It doesn't really bother me with the port I use on the X4 GT, but this port with the Realme was a bit worse.

Hello John! I'm sure there are some ports that are more compatible than the one I ended up testing with, but yes, it was not the full GCam experience unfortunately. Still interesting to test though (at least for me!).
