Im using realme 12 pro +and wondering why i cant use the bottom right camera, its actually empty so is this a scam?

How else Not really, it is used by the Periscope so it would have been impossible to put a 4th camera there. You could say that the 4th camera is a 6Times 16MP Tele with 1/4 Sensor size. This is a periscope of better quality than what is inside the S24U and iPhone 15pro Max, which is why it needs that much Space. At low light and using the 6times Periscope at medium light (inside room), you can see the Phone switching between binned and unbinned sensor with a slight colour shift. Meaning realme switches to an 4th virtual sensor with separate image processing dedicated to that to the 4th Virtual 16MP sensor. This 4th sensor Virtual does not function in Video mode, which is why you get less detail in Video when zooming in.

Just for comparison, this 6times virtual sensor is 16MP at 1/4 size, the Galaxy S24+ at 6 times has to work with 2.5MP at 1/7 Sensor size, not the slightest chance.

8 MP, f/3.4, 125mm (periscope telephoto), 1/4.4" Brother while it's true you have 5X periscope lens. That small sensor is bad in low light. You can't compare your sensor with Realme.

@@komekko373 my point is i already shot with periscope lens before you guys bragging about this, don't be nerdy tech advisor, i knew the deep specs of my phone too but i tried to keep it easy for anyone to understand.....nobody shoot with telephoto lens and in low light condition very often....i shot in bright daylight condition while baypassing noise reduction, and it looks great......

5 Times 8MP 1/4.4" Periscope on infinix vs Realme with 64MP 3Times 1/2" and 16MP 6times at 1/4 The difference in quality to these two Periscopes is so high that it wouldn't even beat a quarter of realmes periscope hardware.

The Image quality you get at 5 Times is about what you get on realme at 8Times zoom, just that below 5 you got barley any quality to speak about until around 3 times. The realme provides consistent high quality on all zoom levels, photos stopping to be useable to show at around 30Times.
