I'm using Realme x7 max i just received a beta Realme ui 4.0 and i gotta say it is so smooth AF, like the visual changes is insane and there are few bugs but I'm lucky my device doesn't have any kind of ads in it like the midrange Realme 10 pro +.

Android 13 is much snappier and smoother than Android 12. OOS12(probably similar experience to realmeui3) was more jittery than oos 13. That's some excellent under the hood changes.

Agreed. But would require an additional few minutes in review, which might not go well with a certain group of viewers. Rectangular tiles icon in notification is a huge annoyance for me, realme UI 3.0 notification icons were much simpler and closer to stock android. Realme is trying hard to get rid of the decent UX which was there earlier.

Most useful feature I think coloros or realme ui these sister concern uis provides is the floating window I found it very useful in multitasking Like you are watching KZbin video and you can open cricbuzz in floating window to see live cricket score. It is just an example there are many more things you can do. Good series TT English, want more reviews on it. 👍👍👍👍

Will you say that Samsung copied it from ColorOS? No. Right? then why shitting ColorOS. It's not who bought the feature, its on how to implement the feature. Even A-12's Material You theme is based on the Customisations that were provided on COS, FOS, MUI and MiUI. OneUI+ Goodlock is king of customisations, no argue on that but the factor which affects OneUI's customisation is the lack of Goodlock on most phones by default, because Half of the people who will buy a Samsung phone won't even know about Goodlock.

@@arunvr7 Just additionally remove the permissions from those apps. Then no need to worry about, the main threat to privacy is that glance and recommended apps shit. If you turn them off, remove every permissions from those apps and disable it(if it can be) then no threat to your Privacy. Or other option is that buy an Oneplus or Oppo phone(not A-series) for that price. You won't have to deal with any of the ads shenanigans all together.

I have been using Realme 3 pro. Initially the software experience was very good. But with updates, newer UI and Android versions, more of ads, bloatware were added. And looking at the latest situation in Realme UI 4, I am very disappointed. I still like the features and design of the Realme UI. And the worst feature is Glance, even if I turned it off just a left swipe on lock screen and there it is ready to turn the mood off.

I too used Realme 3 pro for a long time but ads...never faced that issue. I will agree with Bloatware, Realme has a bad habit of adding bloatwares after a new OS update(ahem like OneUI ahem). I personally never used that Glance shit, didn't even knew I had that😅. But the funny part is that there's absolutely no shit like these on ColorOS on Oppo and OnePlus phones. They do have Glance wallpaper but you will need to turn it on, its not on by default and doesn't even shows a toggle like RMUI does. There's even a feature called Carasoul wallpaper where you basically pick the images you want from the glance screen and it will only cycle through those and won't update

On the other hand, I have a serious problem, and I don't think I'm the only one, the Indian channels which put titles in English, say 2 - 3 words in English at the start of the video to speak in Indian throughout the video 🤦🏽‍♂️ Can you make a, video, a Twiter post, or refer to Google so that there may be a sign, an obligation to specify the language mainly used at 90% in a KZbin video? Because it's annoying to come across this kind of content every time, and it's a real counter-advertisement for Indian channels like yours. 🙏🏽

Well it's mostly Hindi, I said mostly cause thats a major language content creators (I assume 65%) apparently speak. And that doesn't mean you won't find other languages, you will definitely bounce into Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil languages but Hindi speaking creators mostly cover everything. Strange thing is that these ads stuff is not an issue of ColorOS. Neither on Oppo phones nor on Oneplus phones. There's just an suggestion when we turn on "global search" but that can be turned off by toggling the Recommendations option in it's settings, which is far easy than going into phone settings and doing it. But the amount of Bloatware..DAMN #Realme ! learn from OnePlus, how to not give Bloatware, or learn from Oppo how to give less shitty/useless Bloatware. Even the app market thing isn't a problem for Oppo phones. I had that shit in ColorOS 11 but then when the phone upgraded to ColorOS 12, they were removed on their own along with the app market. Still now the best experience of ColorOS is on oppo phones. It's simply a delight on oppo phones, even on their useless A-series.

I love realmeUI. 1. App lock 2. Smooth and stable 3. Private safe 4. Hide apps 5. Smart sidebar 6. Dual audio 7. DC dimming (in my phone) 8. O1 ultra vision 9. Camera ui Etc. However much bloated the UI is, we can always delete them. One who has a pc/laptop can always debloat it more. I am happy with ram management too. Just that phone started heating a bit more after realme ui 3.0 Still I'm very happy with this ui because I've had used miui before and it's getting tatti with new updates. We've kept our poco X2 still in miui11 because it was the more stable. After miui11, the ui just got annoying with permissions and very buggy and not smooth.

@@arunvr7 for privacy I use Blokada. It blocks many trackers and ads. Ads are simply not there in my phone. I should not do it but I use adfree KZbin alternative. Can't do much as KZbin ads are very annoying. I didn't hear properly what he said about hardware level privacy. But once you debloat you'll have no problems. You can do many things like using different keyboard like yandex if you want your types to no get tracked by Google, you use neon browser with VPN to see adult content and you use Blokoda to block trackers etc. And the end of the day you can't bulletproof as privacy is a myth.

@@mahendarreddy bro 8100 Max is a new processor, its different than the one we saw on Redmi K50i, they used 8100, a completely different processor. It's power efficient, has a better Multi-score and Single Score marks, has better cpu throttling. Considering the hardware of Reno 8 pro , it is actually more value for money(except that 2mp macro🤮) than anyother Reno-series phones till date. The price increase was a different matter all together, its a trend of 2022, every single phones which launched were not as cost-effective on specs but priced more than last year. Even Redmi Note 11 came out and it was priced way more than Oppo K10 4g, Motorola, Vivo T1 44W, etc with the same specs.

Just today went to realme service center, and got the software reinstalled (resetted /whatever) on my GT 2., bcas of fingerprint sensor issue! Had no issues after, The service center guys helped me out, but guys please wait don't install in hurry, now my device is running on ui 3.O, andriod 12... In my realme x7 max there is no app market & hot games, I think they are only there in mid price devices . Hot apps is there but it can be uninstalled & as a tech enthusiast I know how to debloat system apps that are not required. We can turn off recommendations in settings to turn of Ads in system apps & the last one is recommendations and security check after installing a app even from playstore is the odd and irritating one after a long research i found an app called security analysis which is the reason for that pop up after app installation simply disabled that. Now my phones experience is very good & Im very happy with this UI & its features

Using realme gt master edition im redmi note user before realme UI is better but this recommendation is annoying once use turn off all those than its better

Just turn off the hot apps and games from realme's app market and just clear all the data of the app market and revoke it's data access and turn of its notification, the there not any app recommendations and the tha scanning and page also does not appear after installing the app (Also turn off the auto update in realme's app market)

Actually they share the codebase but each of them do a few tweaks on their own to make the UI different. Like Realme did this ad shit which doesn't even exist on Oppo or Oneplus phones running ColorOS 13 and OxygenOS 13 respectively. The best experience of ColorOS is still on Oppo phones, just like the best experience of OneUI is on S-series and Z-series.
