i think a gig line is a very good attention to detail. however, due to the shape and length of the buckle, i think the outer short edge of the belt buckle should be offset a bit in order for it to look more centred. if not, the whole belt looks shifted towards the left of the pants.

I do like larger and thicker belts especially if I’m going to tuck in but as long as it’s a leather belt that matches the dress shoes. All I’ll need is some formal slacks and a tie and I’ve got a good outfit for the business environment.
@EvMc3055 жыл бұрын
Got a KORE ratchet belt myself and its better than I expected. Super easy, simply cut to fit. Put buckle on, done. Reinforced belt hence makes it a 'gun' belt. Then the micro-fit is amazing. I feel like every belt I own could use double the holes. Well, this is like having 30x the normal holes! I can only use 'release' lever with right index finger only for some reason no big deal. I plan on getting another style of these soon to mix it up.

About the belt width, I'm quite a large guy, so I find that for me a 1.5" belt works better (even as a formal belt). The 1.25" already starts to look like a women's belt because of my proportions.

How tight should a belt fit? If it's resting on hips and is breaking skin over extended periods of time, is it too loose? Also, do ansonbelts have a belt that is suitable for conceal carry?
@RealMenRealStyle5 жыл бұрын
It's a little bit tighter but it shouldn't break skin. If you wear a 34″ trouser waist, a belt labeled 36″-38″ will probably be in the right neighborhood.
@MJOLNIR495 жыл бұрын
@@RealMenRealStyle I was thinking it might be too loose because it's the weight of the pants held by the belt causing the breaking of skin and not the tenaion. Was I mistaken?

@Rainer670594 жыл бұрын
Wearing belts, yes, but where did the doughboys have the idea from to put the belt on the pants? In the military unifrom the belt is worn on the topcoat. And people had worn belts in the street all the time: many live in colder climates. Most time of the year, they can't go down into the street with their indoor cloths, they have to wear warming outdoor cloths ontop. So they don't show off outdoors their suits but their overcoats. Overcoats usually have belts. People had worn belts in the street all the time: on their overcoats. On the overcoat, that's where a belt belongs. Where's the idea from to put it on the pant? And didn't belted pants exist since the early 1800s? Weren't they worn in the Wild West?
