By the way, how many expats live in Ulanbaator? I would not be surprised to hear that you have a large foreign community. UB seems like a superb city, with wonderful people.

I'd love to visit Mongolia one day. How is the air pollution? I've read it's supposed to be very bad during winter in Ulaanbaatar because everyone in the ger district is burning coal and the city is surrounded by mountains.

It was bad before. Now things are better since the government has banned the raw coal. People now use processed coal which emits much less smoke.
