Tuvans in Mongolia and China lived in smaller groups. Tuvans are not Mongolian, but they're Turkic speaking People in Asia practicing Buddhism and Shamanism.

We call Tuvans Uriankhai people in here (Урианхай). They are historically Mongol people living around the Altai mountains. Not Turkic.

Western Yugur are Turkic People living in Gansu Province of China. Their ancestors originated from Mongolia from Central Asia or even Turkey for Thousands of Years, they're known as "Yellow Uyghurs". But Eastern Yugurs are Mongolic.

The pollution is shocking and killing people. Mongol custom: never step on a doorway fresh hold of a ger, and guest should rotate to the right side inside a ger.

UB is not the only city with parking space issues :) Parking spaces are disappearing year by year in Montreal to promote biking and public transport. Some places you have to pay to park.

European cities were like that in the 70s (and some still are). The Netherlands is leading the charge to make cities more livable again by replacing parking lots and streets by public transport, parks and bike routes.

In Soviet countries, I wondered why the city street trees are painted white at the bottom.
@woozyyt55732 жыл бұрын
for years I thought it was about protecting trees from scorching. but there's no snow in UB, so no scorching from snow. one possible explanation is that the Russians just like to paint trees for esthetics. like mowing grass for the English.
