Fun fact; Subbotnik was the idea of free work in the Soviet Union after the October Revolt. Essentially having it in North Korea just fits well. Also Russia did not take all of Poland because they just wanted to unify Kaliningrad with Rusia.

The real divisions exist between rural and urban with urban places being more liberal. Many states have both Republicans and Democrats in Congress. Splitting up would not solve any problems, even though it is large, all Americans share some sort of cultural identity.

There were some mistakes in execution. The southern landowners who sold the lie to poorer and less educated southerners that the war was really about states rights, and not so they could keep their slavery, were allowed to remain rich and influential rather than summaraily being executed. Allowing these people to reassume a place of power and authority relatively unchecked was ultimately a poison pill for the country that led to many of our problems today.

Goodwin (later turned into a Spielberg film), it's clear that Lincoln went so far as to jeopardy public support as well as the offer of complete Confederate surrender in order set up conditions in Congress that would allow the 13th Amendment to pass. The misconception that Lincoln did not care about the issue of slavery comes from one of his early speeches when he told the nation that he would 'welcome the slaves back in chains' in order to try and win the loyalty of the border states.

That's a valid point, but Lincoln did say in his last speech that he thought that the well-educated African-Americans should be given the right to vote so I think that he at least wanted to move towards full equality. Full equality and total enfranchisement were very radical ideas at the time though.

I actually like this 2222 scenario it lets you build up with lots of freedom as Mexico I just needed to invade Yucatan and from then on a few other small 1 province countries, huge amounts of money started rolling in and I made a huge army, and kinda conquered huge parts of the US and also got the province of Deeponia and fought the aliens and have annexed Jupiter and Europa and another moon I can't remember the name of, I had gotten my hands into a time machine with which I got early supersoldiers

Brendan Mills start of easy maybe start as a major nation conquer territory you think is not too impossible to conquer play as that nation for a bit and then change nations. Also if you just start playing play in recruit difficulty . So just slowly progress your way up and watch some tutorials if you wish!

Matt Hunter I think the implication is that nukes are far more powerful in the timeline of the game and multiple nukes might be fired for every one nuke resource. The other factor to take into account is that global warming may have already damaged the environment and lowered the radiation levels required for a nuclear winter to begin.

Splitting the union of the United States into multiple parts was the largest catastrophe in the nation's history. I don't feel like people would be as happy as you think. The wonderful thing about the states is just how different they are. Texas is another universe from Oregon, and it's amazing people from Mississippi and Connecticut can even communicate with one another. It's my favorite thing about my country that even so, we are all Americans.
